Since I was 16 I started DJing at parties, progressed to many nightclubs (Studebakers AKL, SamBucas, Fat Ladies Arms, Seattle Bar & Grill etc) and a lot of mobile DJ work.  Always loving a good groove, many years on the wheels of steel. I have a degree in audio engineering, so I produce, remix and write tracks as well. Timoty Proietti, also known as just TIMOTY (pronounced TIH-muh-tee), is an Italian musician, DJ, and producer. He began his musical journey with the guitar and Rock, then transitioned into Electronic  Music.

After releasing several singles and remixes, in 2025, he made his live debut with a hybrid set at the Hard Spring Festival, combining DJing with live instruments on stage.

A graduate of a music academy, Timoty developed a strong passion for the electronic scene in the U.S., particularly the Melodic Bass movement in Denver, drawing inspiration from leading dubstep artists.

Also in 2025, he won the Aperibrolo Festival Contest, earning a headliner slot at the festival held in the Vicenza area, and he was nominated as a finalist at the Delta Festival Contest.

With a foundation in performance and formal classical music, IN2IT stepped into the electronic music scene in the early 2000s as both a DJ and music producer. His passion for rhythm, dance, and sound led him to purchase a sound system at age 23 and begin hosting renegade forest parties—sparking a lifelong devotion to music and associated gatherings.

Now living on the unceded ancestral lands of the Sinixt, Ktunaxa, Secwepemc peoples, IN2IT continues to channel that same fire. As co-owner of North Lake Sound, he carries forward the spirit of those early gatherings. He has continued to progress and sharpen his music production and DJ skills over the years. He plays at a variety of British Columbia rave and dance events, and has been featured in Shambhala Music Festival's Village Stage Jungle Rinse Out in 2024 and 2025.

His sets move through a wide spectrum of dance music, with a sharp and soulful focus on DnB and Jungle. For him mixing is storytelling, promotion, and self-care - a way to share the artists and tracks he loves most, and a ritual that feels as much like therapy as it does celebration.
