August 1485: Richard Plantagenet (Richard III) is the last king of England to be killed in battle (he's the - "a horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse" guy in the Shakespeare play). Over 500 years later his body was re-interred in Leicester Cathedral having been discovered under a parking lot nearby. Always regarded as an evil murderous tyrant, recent studies reveal his 'hunch-back villain' image may have been exaggerated - mainly due to Shakespeare's portrayal. His spinal curvature, however was clearly verified when his skeleton was discovered...it's well worth visiting the city of Leicester to see for yourself!

Troubadour_21 is a project developed since 2019 in Basel, Switzerland. Like an old-time troubadour parachuted into our contemporary world, the Tr_21 avatar discovers new forms of expression to which he tries to add the old artistic concepts of the Middle Ages. We hear, for example, a 13th century polyphony of three voices amplified by electro rhythms and synthesizer sounds, interspersed with texts on the pros and cons of online love. The troubadour21 show can be performed in solo form as well as with the Troubadour’s collective. This collective is made up of an eclectic group of musicians, ranging from medieval music to electronic music.
