Modern Age Dying comes from Nitra, Slovakia. Born from the ashes of Apothecy, the band combines many genres like melodic death metal, black metal, thrash metal, or metalcore. The band released their debut EP "The Age Of Regression" on July
1st,2017, and over six years later in October 2023, the full-length debut "The Sunless Empire" was finally released at band's own expenses. In July 2025, after severe line-up changes, band releases a brand new single "Chasing The Virtual Dusk", which, by the band's words, will define the new musical direction and sound of Modern Age Dying.
