Sunday Breaks Sessions (Part 124) Live On CCR - 10.11.24

A 3hr mix of amazing Framwewerk rewerks, remixes and new tunes!

I’ve been a big fan of Framewerk for a good few years now and they have featured regularly in my mixes and livestreams. Over the past few weeks they’ve dropped an unbelievable amount of music on Bandcamp, mostly remixes and mostly available for next to nothing. From amazing chilled reworks of classics, an album of Depeche Mode covers as well as a constant stream of regular releases.

I’ve refined the literally hundreds of tracks I’ve acquired over the last month or so down to my absolute favourites and put them together into a monster set which is the first recording on my lovely new Pioneer decks - which is only fitting I think!

Along with 23 of their best are a few tracks that just sit so well - including 4 Lost Astronaut tunes from their stunning 2024 album and an achingly beautiful Banco remix.

Starts really really chilled and builds up nicely :-)

On New Years Eve I am lucky enough to be on the line-up for the amazing Encapsulated Energy event 'Planet Euphoria' at a top UK venue in Hastings. I'll be playing alongside a whole host of top DJs, and the headliners Framewerk!! I had the pleasure of providing the soundscape for my dear friend Nick Gubbels's breathwork session. This was a very unique experience, brought to life through Nick's vision of the world of DJing and the world of breathwork meeting, providing participants with a carefully curated sonic journey to go along with their guided breathwork. It was a privilege to be a part of Nick's vision and I can't wait to see where he takes it.

Big shout out to Azriel/Half Moon Temple in Richmond for providing us the space to facilitate these sessions. It's a wonderful space that's as inviting and calming, as it is energetic and lively.

Formerly one half of Breakbeat DJ legends AWE Soundsystem, who held residencies at a host of London-based clubs including Supatronix, Chew The Fat, Eden Collective. Supafunk, and others, Country Cockney is still relentlessly wowing the masses with his jaw-dropping blend of musical mastery and funny faces. With a belief that 'if it's good, it gets played' regardless of age, genre or cheese-factor, you can always guarantee that no matter where or when this DJ gets on the decks he'll always ensure that he finishes with a satisfied dance floor and a phat set of anthems ringing in the ears. You can catch him DJing live at Full Flava Behaviour @ The Chambers in Folkestone every few months and also on Cutters Choice Radio where he is live from 7pm every 2nd Friday and 2pm every Sunday playing the latest and greatest breakbeat music.
