My name is Donna-Marie A.K.A Donna Birt and I am from Auckland, New Zealand. I opt for moody yet uplifting melodic melodies with techy bass lines, and am influenced by the likes of Maceo Plex, D-Nox, HOSH, Tinlicker, blaktone, Grum and Boris Brejcha to name a few. I play Progressive House, Melodic Techno, & Minimal Techno. 
  
I started DJing back in 2001, where I heavily featured on the London party circuit, playing at all of the major venues in London. I could be found regularly playing at the likes of Brixton Academy, Camden Palace (now KOKO), The Fridge, Shepherds Bush Empire, Turnmills, Egg London, Scala and Ministry of Sound. I also toured Internationally throughout South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and to the US to San Francisco where I earned a reputation for my style of chunky, groovy and driving techy vibes. Since returning home to NZ, my sound has refined and matured to what you hear today.  I have had some amazing gigs including recently closing the main stage on the first night at NZ's very own AUM Festival 2020. 
 
I'm partway through writing my 4th album and have a heap of new tunes to deliver. I have had a number of Beatport Top 100 Progressive House tunes over the past year, with my most recent track ‘Turn’, a collaboration with Max Freegrant label owner of the amazing Freegrant Music, hitting Number 3 on the Top 100 Progressive House tracks. Having a number of releases on Paul Oakenfold’s label Perfecto Black has also been a massive career highlight.

After being a bedroom DJ for many years, David Hattingh got a residency on a Spanish community radio station, Gum FM, on Gum Sessions with Jordi Casas mixing the latest in progressive house and uplifting trance.
Not satsified with simply playing other peoples tunes David decided to try his hand at production and hasn't looked back.
David has seen support from names such Giuseppe Ottaviani, Ori Uplift, René Ablaze, Nitrous Oxide and Paddy Kelly to name but a few.
Founding member of the Truth in Dance radio show with DJ Paul Angel, David has gone on to feature on many online and FM radio shows around the world and is known for his driving uplifting trance sets and more recently peak time techno.

Mesmerized by the glitter of electronic music festivals and tunes back in 2018 led to finding my emotional connections with the sounds, melodies, and dynamic vibes of Techno, Trance and Psy-trance. Tunes that generate young, positive and happy energies to both myself and  audiences. 

My first Trance track was ‘Secret Fantasia’ but is keen to continue developing more into music production.
