Javier Meyer en su informe semanal hizo un llamado a la reflexión de cara a las elecciones del 13 de abril, instando a la comunidad a elegir entre un "cambio real y demostrado" versus "la mentira, la falsedad, la corrupción instalada y la defensa de los privilegios". También señaló una inconsistencia en el número de "distritos del departamento de Belgrano, que son seis y todos tenemos en nuestra cabeza que son seis distritos y es mentira, son siete. Hay un distrito que es ambulatorio porque el senador maneja el presupuesto de una comuna".

Reunión con Bullrich: Preocupación por Seguridad y Narcotráfico

Según relató el propio intendente Meyer, la visita de Bullrich, aunque programada con poca antelación, fue una oportunidad para discutir "mano a mano" diversas problemáticas. Uno de los puntos centrales fue la aplicación de la ley de narcomenudeo provincial. Expresó a la ministra sus "observaciones" sobre cómo investigaciones iniciadas por fuerzas federales, como Gendarmería, son transferidas al ámbito provincial (PDI) una vez calificadas como narcomenudeo. "Después vimos que no hubo ninguna condena firme, que había gente que seguía estando en su casa con tobillera. O sea, cuestiones raras", manifestó el intendente, subrayando la necesidad de "más control de las fuerzas federales".
