“Turning the sound of Studio 54 on its head…”

This isn’t your typical disco revival. This is Studio 54 flipped — a glitterball-splashed rework of dancefloor royalty, rebuilt with house heat, nu-disco flair, and edit culture energy.

We kick things off with a killer mashup that fuses “Rapper’s Delight” with CHIC’s “Good Times”, courtesy of Ivan Jack & Master Mike — a nod to the birth of hip-hop and disco’s golden groove in one seamless jam.
Then Ken@Work steps up with a slick remix of “Good Times”, reshaping a classic into a strut-ready roller.
The fire continues with Purple Disco Machine, Benjamin Ingrosso & Nile Rodgers on the outrageously funky “Honey Boy (Extended Version)”.
We roll into Kylie Minogue’s “Tension”, given a shimmering electro-glam remix by Chromeo, and a twilight anthem in Shakedown’s “At Night” (Purple Disco Machine Extended Remix).
Also packed in the crate is a bouncing remix of Kool & The Gang’s “Fresh” from HP Vince, bringing neon-tinted boogie to the dancefloor revival.

British-based Michael Gray is an accomplished DJ, producer and remixer and is respected by DJs across the board with Pete Tong, Danny Rampling, Roger Sanchez, David Morales and Erick Morillo being amongst his most vocal supporters. 

As one half of dynamic production and remix duo "Full Intention", Michael burst onto the scene in 1994 with the pair's remix of Duke's "So In Love With You" which rocketed into the Top 20 charts. Since then, Michael has completed a string of remixes both as solo efforts and alongside Jon Pearn as Full Intention. Brandy's "Full Moon", Sugababes' "Hole In The Head", Junior Jack's "E Samba", Ultra Nate's "Free", Jennifer Lopez's "Love Don't Cost A Thing", Shèna's "I'll Be Waiting", Dajae's "What Do You Want?", Dina Vass' "The Love I Have For You", Mood 2 Swing's "Can't Get Away", Powerhouse's "I Got What You Need" and Frankie Knuckles' "Tears" have all received Michael's magic touch, as did George Michael's "Amazing", for which Full Intention received a Grammy nomination.

Passionate about disco, house, soul and funk and bringing it to the ears of the world.

Having cut his teeth as one of the original resident DJs at the seminal Venus, Nottingham in the early 90’s, Christian went on to play at most major venues across the UK and Europe during the halcyon days. Early in the decade he was named ‘one to watch’ in MixMag, gained pride of place on the Face Magazines’ barometer of “What’s Hot and What’s Not” listed as “…a Balearic DJ who can mix…” and later was named DJ of the Month in i-D Magazine – which in turn led to a coveted place on their World Tour alongside Tony Humphries.

His career blossomed further in the ensuing years and bestowed him not only with the privilege of playing alongside such luminaries (and musical heroes) as David Morales, Roger Sanchez, Masters at Work and Danny Tengalia but also his original inspiration, Graeme Park. By the mid 90’s he established himself as a staple at the legendary Southport Weekenders and secured a monthly residency at the Ministry of Sound. A disco-tinged house sound rapidly became his trademark and was also prominent in his later production work under the Nu Soulboy moniker with remixes and releases coming through such labels as Virgin (VC) Records and Todd Terry’s SoundDesign imprint. More recently his production work has been reinvigorated with two tracks coming out during 2023 and further releases slated for 2024.

To this day, he continues to produce and DJ - remaining an ambassador for “soul-based music to dance to”.
