This is the song that started it all. The mission statement. "The Magnetic Brain" is my title track, an experimental funk jam that inspired the name of the band itself.

Recorded live in Portugal in 2023, this performance is a tribute to the genius of Hermeto Pascoal and a showcase of our core concept: using a MIDI guitar to perform a universe of sounds—Rhodes, bass, synths, trombone—without a single traditional guitar tone.

On this musical clip I am playing my Telecaster . First I played a G Blues chord progression on  my Tele , then I hooked up my Tele to a VST Midi synth and lay'd down my second guitar track as an organ track .
All playing was done in one continuous take with no overdubs ...
Essentially what we have here is a Improvised Duet  ...not bad for a little practice session

Welcome to the sonic universe of Gabriel SIDI and The Magnetic Brain Band.

This is the home of a unique musical experiment: a one-man-band from Germany creating the sound of a full ensemble. Here, the electric guitar is transformed, becoming a saxophone, a piano, a Hammond B3 organ, or a vintage synthesizer right before your eyes.
