The Rat Race is my journal in audio form — a soundtrack for every person who is chasing cheese and has considered jumping off the hamster wheel.

It explores the tension between running it up and choosing to slow down or exit a system that profits from our exhaustion.

I wrote it over the course of the last year, while caught between the voice that yells 'run it up' and the one saying 'walk with me.' The majority of these songs were recorded late night, after working 9am to 9pm. got off and recorded got engaged to the love of my life, and even changed my artist name.

The goal is that The Rat Race isn't just an album. It's a mirror. One that asks: What are we running toward? What's chasing us? And what happens when we look to our right and decide to stop?
