Pure Progressive Paradise #12 (Triple P Series)

Well this one should have been out weeks ago but March turned into a bit of an exercise in having no free time. So... we are gonna call this April and it's early instead of very late. The power of positive thinking right?

Back to a traditional 2 hour melodic journey at a reasonable pace that is more geared towards the dance floor (in contrast to January's mix) with this one. Loads of great music from great artists and labels. I probably could have called this one the "2 hour Will DeKeizer prog sandwich" given its starting and ending point but we're not going to do that.

Tom Rudolfs (TGR) launched his professional career at the famous King King nightclub in Hollywood, California. Tom has performed at premier nightspots all around California, featured alongside world-renowned Djs and has collaborated with some of the top producers in North America. His influences come from an array of musical genres from techno, reggae, alternative pop, punk, house, to hip-hop. With a combination of sophistication and skillful exploration of soundscapes his sets help create a lasting experience for the listener.

Former fixture of the east coast electronic music scene for nearly two decades, Sean has earned the respect of electronic music lovers, DJs and promoters all over with his intelligent & smooth blend of melodic and mesmeric deep house and techno.

During his active DJ career Sean was a true technical perfectionist combining outstanding programming skills with flawless execution, which earned him a reputation as one of the most consistent performers in the scene. His professional approach provided him with many opportunities throughout the years having opened for such highly acclaimed artists as Armin Van Buuren, Deep Dish, Danny Howells, Luke Fair, Sultan, and Steve Porter to name just a few. Sean was also lucky enough to have had an impromptu tag session with Sasha in 2003, which remains one of Halifax's most enduring electronic music memories.

More recently in 2011 Sean provided the winning mix in John Digweed's "Structures Two" international mix contest and was featured on Digweed's highly acclaimed radio show "Transitions", something that even the most seasoned pro DJ aspires to.

While Sean no longer performs regularly you can still catch new editions of his long running mix series "Chilling Moments" which has been going strong in one format or another since 2003.

It's all about blending melodic textures.
Always travelling between Melodic House & Techno / Ethereal Techno / Organic House / Electronic(a) / ...
Taking twists between (lots of) Progressive House, Deeply Textured Techno,  some Tribal Rhythms and Breaks.
Never forgetting the timeless grooves from the past and combining this with contemporary elements.
Shifting energy from intimate and inward-looking moments to uplifting and stirring episodes. 
Aiming for the contrast between darkness and brightness.
Weaving and manoeuvring across soundscapes.
Morphing into genres and hereby covering a whole spectrum of sounds...

Martin Ramirez (24) 'aka' MARTO comenzó a incursionar en el mundo del Djing desde jóven luego de que un amigo le mostrara lo que eran los ritmos del House y el Deep House.

En el año 2016, ya residiendo en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, empezó a asistir como espectador a sus primeras fiestas electrónicas de Progressive House en las que sonaban artistas como Max & Nim, Jimmy Van M, Martin Garcia, Marcelo Vasami, Danny Howells y John Digweed quienes forman parte de su inspiración como Dj día a día.

Una vez de vuelta en su ciudad natal comenzó a instruirse en Ableton Live con maestros y referentes de la música electrónica como lo son; Andrea Cassino y Tomas G logrando asi terminar su primer EP que va a ser lanzado próximamente por el reconocido sello D9SA.

Su estilo en el que destacan las mezclas progresivas y oscuras, proviene mayormente de la utilización de elementos rítmicos del Progressive House y del Techno, buscando así transmitir mucha calidad, armonía y sobre todo un buen groove a la hora de dar sus presentaciones
