Houston, We Have a Problem

I think I should probably start this post with a Disclaimer. The mix you are about to listen to, is a complete departure from my usual Beach Club Vibe, but as you know from past experience, every now and then I do like to go a bit ‘left-field’ and produce something little bit different. #61x (Dark Matter) <link in bio> is one of those mixes. 
I also have a confession. I knew about this one before the original #61 was released last week. But I didn’t want to announce it, as I still had some decisions to make on the track selection. Basically, I didn’t want to put any pressure on myself to deliver and risk rushing to produce something I wasn’t completely happy with. Oh the joys of being a perfectionist!
The good news is, I have managed to fulfil my objective without compromise. 
The title ‘Dark Matter’ intentionally suggests a deeper, much darker vibe for this one and that is what you should expect. A journey into Metronomic Rhythms, Hypnotic Bass Lines and Enchanting Melodies, this, is a foray into the realms of Melodic Progressive House and Minimal Deep Tech. A different path I know, but put your trust in me for the next Hour and sixteen minutes. I want to show another side to my soul and at the end, I hope you’ll agree it was worth the risk.

NADI is an Argentine DJ and producer specializing in tech house, blending hypnotic basslines, groovy rhythms, and immersive percussions. His journey in electronic music began in 2015, with a passion for EDM that evolved into deep involvement in the underground tech house scene. In 2018, NADI picked up his first controller, and by 2019, he was refining his craft and exploring live formats with additional samples and vocals.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Michael Bibi, Iglesias, Dennis Cruz, and Eddy M, NADI brings a dynamic, groove-driven sound to his sets and productions. His performances feature an authentic approach to tech house, from the deep tech grooves to minimal variations, tailored to resonate with the energy of each venue.

Hi and welcome, you've found me!
If you're reading this then the chances are we share a common love for 'electronic dance' music and the various guises and forms it takes.
So who am I? My name is Jay and I am also known for being the Downtempo music writer/producer 'Coolmadina' (you'll find my other page on here too) 
So the Benirrás Beach Club is my project and it has 2 elements, firstly the mixes you are listening to on here and secondly the live show. If you catch one of the live shows you will often see me woking (as a DJ and percussionist) on stage with my dear friend of many years Mike Blatchford who is also a percussionist AND a fantastic Saxophonist. In the live shows, we playing tracks from the Benirrás mixes but we spice up that Ibiza vibe with the Sax and Percussion elements. If any of you have any knowledge of Ibiza, you will likely know about the Benirrás Beach and its spiritual connection to drums and rhythm. I have been a drummer since my childhood. Mike is a practicing Yoga instructor of many years and our joint passion for rhythms of the world and music that just grooves was the catalyst for this project. As a result it felt completely natural and right to have Ibiza and Benirrás as the inspiration behind it. 
I hope you enjoy the mixes on here and I REALLY hope we get to see some of you at the live shows as we work our way around the South of England and beyond!

In the studio is where Aitor frees himself and is capable of creating hits that are going viral, with the support of internationally acclaimed artists as The Martinez Brothers, Michael Bibi, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Jamie Jones, Wade, Paco Osuna, Pawsa, Cloonee or Dennis Cruz.

His tracks are a fusion of various musical influences, intense, dance floor-driven and energetic. His use of samples is his staple signature, as well as basses and glitches that give his sound personality. All this, topped with how he texturizes and gives life to his music, makes Aitor Astiz one of the young producers with most projection at all levels in the dance music scene.
