GROXX - Tech House Set (Agosto 2025)

For Bay Area DJ Ash Barnes, it’s all about the energy between the dancer and the DJ.    Be it four strangers dancing at a tiny dive bar or 4,000 revelers raving in the Black Rock desert, the goal is the same— to build and maintain the connection between dancer and the DJ.   Stylistically, while Barnes’ influences draw upon multiple genres and his sets may span a wide range— from tech house and crunchy synths to breaks to minimal tech—the vibes are decidedly energetic and the mission is the always the same: get those booties shakin!  Whatever he brings— Barnes’ sets are mixed with a polished and skillful hand in the way only someone with 25 years behind the decks can do.  It is within this vibe that Barnes aims to create a blissful state of oneness—that singular experience that is created through the universal language between the DJ and the dance floor.  
	Through his journey DJ Ash Barnes has helped to create and maintain some amazing underground scene in multiple cities.  Starting off in Hollywood he ran his own weekly house night at Libertine located on the Sunset Strip.  He managed to threw down killer sets at most of the clubs in Hollywood and West Hollywood before moving to the Bay Area almost 10 years ago. 
He now runs the Paradigm Shift collective who throw parties all over San Francisco and Oakland.
