Chris Blackburn is an avid enthusiast in the global Trance community, with his love for the music stretching back to 1996 when he first discovered the genre while traveling to Amsterdam at age 16. 

Along with being a regular DJ for local Trance events in his hometown of Minneapolis, Chris has provided support for the likes of legends such as Solarstone, Photographer, Orjan Nilsen, Ferry Corsten, UCast, Sean Tyas, Genix & Sunnx Lax and more. In 2017 Chris graced the international stage playing the Trance Sunset stage on Shipsomnia, opening for legends Protoculture, Lange, Greg Downey & Alex Di Stefano.  Chris again graced the stage of Groove Cruise Miami 2019 under his Trance Jesus alias, and will be returning again for Groove Cruise Orlando 2022.

When he's not playing Trance, Chris is DJing and producing alongside his buddy Sam Shacter as Ragebeards, bringing a unique funky Electro/Dub/House style, and has played numerous events in Minneapolis as well as SIMShows/React-produced Summer Set Music Festival outside of the Twin Cities. 

Chris also works with Coast 2 Coast Music as Partner and Booking Agent for some of the hottest stars in Trance. He also is a co-founder of Estrella Recordings, focusing on Tech, Psy & Uplifting Trance releases.
