July’s edition of After June Radio comes with a special twist — this set was recorded on the road while traveling from Albania through Greece on the way to Free Earth Festival. With no time to record at home, the mix came alive during the journey itself, making it a true travel soundtrack. 🚐🌍✨

The session starts groovy and uplifting with fresh releases from Psychotria and Oxytocin, flows into the driving vibes of E-Clip and Inner State, and gradually builds into full-on territory with Exyoma, Avan7, Acid Sonic, Audiosonic, and Phantohm. It closes with the powerful remix of Burn In Noise & Shivatree, before transitioning into a spiritual outro by Amplify & Asintyah.

It’s a rolling journey — bright, trippy, and full of motion — perfectly fitting the road trip that gave it life. 🌿🚀🎶

A quiet pulse of tonal vapor, slowly evolving into a resonant wash of layered harmonics and reflective textures. Each delay bloom feels like a memory fragment surfacing, drifting, and dissolving again into the mix.

The composition unfolds deliberately — rich midrange warmth forms the body, while faint modulated overtones weave through the upper spectrum like refracted light. The piece conveys a sense of suspension and distance, evoking time stretched across space.

Immersive ambient trance — cerebral, immersive, and textural, built from shifting energy rather than rhythm. It feels less like a song and more like an atmosphere you inhabit.

BIO:
Halfred is the culmination of years and years of aural exploration. Originally a drummer, the Italian born sonic warrior found his roots in drumming which led him to music production, along with a degree in electronic music production at SAE, in Milan. His eclectic approach makes it hard to categorize his music and this is partially due to the fact that his sound breaks the often repetitive mold of psy music, seamlessly taking the forms of dub, hiphop, drum n bass, garage, and world music and while staying true to his signature sound and focused on the micro details, he’s constantly experimenting with the squishy and granular side of psychedelic mid-tempo, drum and bass, dubstep, psybass and all things
psychedelic. During last years, he collaborated and remixed top notch artists like Desert Dwellers, Whitebear, Tribone, Zebbler Encanti Experience, Duffrey, Tryptich and had music released on labels such as Merkaba Music, Shanti Planti, Outtallectuals, Gravitas Recordings, Wakaan and more, as well as playing many festivals and nights in the European and North-American scene, such as Boom , Modem, Hadra, Shankra, Tribal Gathering, Own Spirit, Lost Theory, Isis Garden,Street Parade, Create Culture, Infrasound, Wormhole Wednesdays and Cosmic Sinergy Final Fridays.
