Sounds From NoWhere is pleased to premiere a new Het Zweet' gem on 'Modal Analysis'.
Rare and unheard music from Marien van Ooers (aka Het Zweet), native of Breda in the Netherlands, active in the industrial/experimental scene during the 80s. 
The music consisted of percussion pieces played on self build instruments (shopping trolleys amplified with pickups, blown cardboard tubes, etc.) with repetitive shouted vocals from Marien. 
His music was often placed in the industrial camp, even though it was more concerned with tribal music, physicality and trance effects like the ones of ZEV, as during concerts he often used to perform with other musicians. 
Marien passed away on the 8th of January 2013 and this album is a record of his unique musical legacy culled from various tapes during the 80s. 
First time on vinyl (2x12), including CD with a recorded live performance.

Premiere: Het Zweet - Excuse [Modal Analysis]

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Het Zweet. Athenian record label Modal Analysis presents 'Archives Volume 1: 1982-1988', a compilation of over of 100 hours unheard tapes from the Dutch outsider legend. The early electronic pioneer employed homemade percussion, wind, and string instruments alongside a few more modern pieces, mainly a Korg MS-10 and the tape recorder he used as his primary composition tool, exploring pounding industrial grooves with vocals to ambient fragments and into extended, entrancing efforts bridging this gap but finding few parallels.
