I met Danmark-based Irishman Richard Farrell online when looking for vocals for one of my earlier tracks. We got along so famously that we decided to get together and form a permanent project, i.e. October Skies. We made an album which will be released later this year. Here's the first single of that. I did all music, Richard the singing. Call it sci-fi pop. Call it whatever you want. Heart & soul.

This track is well suited for dancefloor use, and has a catchy chorus. It was not specifically intended to be dance music though. Expressing a positive mood on the other hand, yes, please. It has everything to become a firm summer radio favourite and might just become a rent-free inhabitant of your psyche.

That about summarises it, Mar+Mer is the collaboration of a hugely talented duo that after a night out with their sounds you will want to know personally. Their productions impact deep into your soul, you will want to press repeat but also want to know, embody, be the people behind the music. The addictive beats they produce has an essence of rawness and magnetic appeal.

Collectively, their music is derived from four decades of modern music marked by an energetic performance of enthusiasm; positive auras, infectious melodies, and bouncy rhythms spilling onto the dance floor amidst a sea of good vibes.

Marshall is a charismatic character whose calmness and intrigue into the world generally, is addictive. His creative partner in crime, Mermand has a uplifting and energetic outlook on life that compliments the creative music scene that they frequent and command.

Marshall was born into a musical family, he began his love for music in Washington, DC. His dad, Pete Marshall, who enjoyed success as an RCA recording artist and his late godfather, Van McCoy, famed Composer of “Do the Hustle,” were his first influences. It is no surprise that his love for music would propel him into a musical career.

London raised Mermand’s love of electronic music began at a young age in the dynamic house music club scene of London where he was able to combine his classical music background with his passion for electronic music.
With them both having successful releases on major house music labels, the joining of these two already strong DJ/producers and the contrast of the music has never made a crossing of the seas such an attractive prospect to listen to. 
They have travelled the world and continue to do so although they also manage this around residencies in Dubai. Together their creative minds give an overview to the music scene that is well worth following.

Tim Paul is a solo piano performer today but was a member of several bands in the 70s and 80s including "The Four of Us" and "Crossroads". Tim also performed as a Ballpark Organist for the Quad City Cubs and the Clinton Dodgers for several years. He is also checked off a bucket list item playing the Wrigley Field Organ post game in August of 2022 first of Chicago Cubs Organist John Benedeck. Now he is one of the Owners at PIano Trends Music Company with his wife Bobbi Paul and he serves as  Board President at Raue Center for the Arts. Tim hosts a daily Livestream on Facebook called Lifting Spirits through Music performing on his Baldwin Blue Grand piano live on Lifting Spirits, many times with special musical guests and guest hosts when Tim is off. check out the group page
