Saidou is a Belgian/Senegalese DJ and producer that blends Hip Hop, Rnb, Soul, Funk with Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afrohouse, Afrotech, Reggae and Dancehall. Influenced by artists like DJ Premier, Fela Kuti, James Brown, and D'Angelo, Saidou is known for being very diverse. His career took off in 2019 and he opened shows for Asake, Omah Lay, Joey Badass, Tayc, Mr Eazi, Spice, EPMD etc. He also played in places like Libertine London, Make It Clap Paris, Haubentaucher Berlin, We Can Dance Festival, Bomboclat Festival, Vogue Dakar, Dyoukes Brussels, Bloody Louis, Carré, La Rocca, and is on a journey to establish himself as a respected producer. Beatmaker depuis l’âge de 16 ans et passionné de la culture HIP HOP, il devient la référence Hip Hop de Radio Bellevue Web avec son émission « Hip Hop by Sauze ».

Tout commence dans le haut Var à l’âge de 16 ans ou il se passionne pour le son et plus particulièrement le Hip Hop, à la suite de la découverte d’un morceau « Mystère et suspense de la Fonky Family » et l’album Sol Invictus d’Akhenaton, qui changera sa vie.

A partir de là, un seul objectif récupérer des platines et s’exercer. 

Se retrouvant comme un poisson dans l’eau dans la culture Hip Hop, il monte son studio d’enregistrement dans le haut var pour donner la chance aux jeunes rappeurs de la région. Dans la foulée il organisera un festival, plusieurs concerts et soirées breakdance dans le but de faire découvrir la culture Hip Hop au sein du monde rural.

En 2011 il décide de partir sur Paris pour se former au métier d’ingénieur du son et de production musical. Et c’est là qu’il continue de collaborer en tant que Beatmaker et manager pour Mr KROK membre d’un collectif de rappeurs de Cergy ou l’on pouvais y retrouver LUNIK ET WOJTEK les patrons des Rap Contenders.

Fort de ses expériences, il se retrouve en 2013 à déménager à Lyon ou il intégreras deux ans plus tard Radio Bellevue Web en tant qu’animateur et réalisateur radio. Il met un peu de coté le beat making pour transmettre sa passion du Hip hop au travers de son émission « Hip Hop by Sauze » sur radio Bellevue Web.

En 2022, après plusieurs albums enregistrés mixés et masterisés pour les autres, il décide de revenir à ses premiers amours et de sortir enfin un EP à lui « Shadow & light ».
