My grandfather was actually a big fan of Trump back in the day—long before he ever ran for office. I remember him watching that old Oprah interview where Trump said he might run someday, and my granddad said he thought he’d make a good President. If he were alive now, I know he’d be heartbroken and appalled to see what Trump has done to our country—to our people, our values, our sense of decency. This song is like a letter I wish I could read to him, and maybe to America itself. It’s slow, dark, and honest—part protest, part mourning. It’s about loving your country enough to call out the ones destroying it, even when it hurts to say the words: I never knew you.

In solidarity with all who fight against and survive in a system that continues to corrupt and exploit. To celebrate voices that have over decades shun a light on what is trying to be manipulated and hidden. From grief to rage to hope. It is a mirroring experience of some emotional landscapes that I have either witnessed, felt or observed within local and expanded spaces.

As a white read womxn with roots in westslavic and latin grounds I am borrowing art from people and cultures to voice a pain that I can't 100% relate to nor do I represent. I am a guest and want to respect the houses I step into. It is with care and deep rooted inspiration that I am creating with music that come from struggle and systemic oppression. When I listen and feel into these words and compositions, it boils down to emotional notions that in one way or another from far or up close we all somehow interlink with; if we are courageous enough to reflect and meet in the trenches of our life here on earth.

My roots are in classic music — the kind that doesn’t chase the moment but lingers with you long after the last note. Over time, that love expanded into poetry writing and jazz — especially the kind that swings, speaks, and smirks all at once. Jazz, to me, isn’t just a genre; it’s a personality. A conversation. A little tilt of the head and a grin that knows more than it says.

When I set out to create an album, it’s rarely just a collection of songs. I approach it like a personal playlist — one that drifts and flows as if the entire tracklist were one long, uninterrupted piece. Each track leans into the next, shifting mood, pace, or voice, but always carrying the same thread of feeling. I want you to listen the way I do — not as a shuffle of moments, but as a cinematic arc. One breath that lasts an hour.

Lyrically, my work is rooted in lived experience. Sometimes it’s obvious. Other times it’s just the skeleton of a memory, dressed up in wit, irony, or longing. I draw from real-life events, then let the poet in me twist, stretch, or sweeten them to taste. Depending on the tone of the album — playful, romantic, nostalgic, or something in between — I try to keep the emotional truth intact while giving it a fresh coat of creativity. A little humor where it fits. A deeper dive where it hurts.

My newest jazz album continues this tradition — short-lined swing tracks, conversational duets, and tongue-in-cheek storytelling. It’s an homage to late-night alleyway ballads, rooftop serenades, and train station goodbyes — all bound together with a sense of charm and cohesion. Each song is its own little scene, but together they tell a story — one you can revisit with each replay.

"Pictureplane"(Travis Egedy), is a popular artist known for making his come up in the electronic music scene, DIY Venues, also popular for hanging around artists like "Grimes" and "Crystal Castles" in the early come up days of these artist, he is also the one who came up with the word "Witch House" which is a playful word on "House" music, though "Witch House" is now a popular music genre that is enjoyed by many.

"Crystal Castles" are actually one of the very first, if not the first electronic music duo to actually invent "Witch House" music, as you can hear dark beats and sorrow drawn out voices off of some of their early (demo songs/ Demo Album) dating back from "2007" and before that, which is crazy to think since during that time "Witch House" did not have a name for itself yet.

Songwriting has been a lifelong passion for me, dating back to elementary school when I first began crafting stories, poems, and eventually lyrics. As a former drummer in various bands, I always relied on others to bring my words to life musically. However, after a long hiatus from drumming, I decided to take the leap and learn to compose music to accompany my lyrics. Through classes and dedication, I've embarked on a new journey, breathing fresh life into old lyrics and penning new ones. You'll find a mix of older and newer works here. Especially for some of the lyrics. 

Music has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is being completely entranced by 'The Little Drummer Boy' as a very young child. There was something about the rhythm and the melody that just captivated me. I must have played it a thousand times, wearing the record out, and from that moment on, I was hooked. I knew I wanted to be a drummer and to create that magic for others. 

But I was too young then, and of course, I couldn't afford a drum set just yet. So, I turned to writing as a way to express myself. As I mentioned above, I started with stories, then poems, and eventually, lyrics. I found that writing was not only a way to tap into my creativity, but also a way to process my emotions and experiences. 

As I grew older, my love for music only deepened. I realized that music has this incredible power to transport us to different times and places, to evoke emotions and memories that we thought were long forgotten. It's a universal language that can bring people together like nothing else can. 

For me, writing lyrics is a cathartic experience. It's a way for me to tap into my emotions, to process the world around me, and to create something that I hope will resonate with others. And when I hear my words come to life in a song, it's truly magical. It's a feeling that never gets old, and it's what keeps me coming back to music time and time again. 

I love many genres of music and artists of many genres. And if you listen to some of my songs, you will find that I like to make songs of different genres as well as mix different genres into each song. One of my all-time favorite bands is Evanescence, and I have made a lot of songs where I have tried my best to emulate that sound. 

Now, I have recently started experimenting with new sounds. I never heard of glitch beats before I took music classes, and now I'm fascinated with the sound, so I have been experimenting with glitch beats recently.
