I honestly don't know how this got me an A* last year. The mixing is questionable, there's phase cancellation in the high end of the drums, and it's over-compressed and boxy. Questionable compositionally too, but that was mainly a result of having to nearly double the song length to meet the requirements.

Attenborough dubstep was pretty hilarious to make, though, especially considering the only synth I was working with and breaking was Retrologue 2. 
I do also openly admit to ripping off Robert Miles and Darude haha.

This episode touches on themes such as diversity in music technology and academia. We talked about being an immigrant in the US, consequently we touched on language barriers and language in general. We also discussed the Summer Camp she is leading at the University of Michigan called Girls ind Music Technology (GiMaT), her newest class, Diversity in Music Technology and more! Dr. Zeynep Özcan is an experimental and electronic music composer, sound artist and performer. She holds a Ph.D. in Music, an M.A. in History of Architecture, and a B.A. in Philosophy. She explores biologically inspired musical creativity, interactive and immersive environments, and generative systems. Her works have been performed and presented throughout the world in concerts, exhibitions, and conferences, such as AES, ICMC, ISEA, NYCEMF, and ZKM. She is an Assistant Professor and a faculty director of Girls in Music and Technology (GiMaT), Summer Institute at the Department of Performing Arts Technology at the University of Michigan, School of Music, Theatre & Dance. She specializes in the implementation of software systems for music-making, audio programming, sonification, sensors and microcontrollers, novel interfaces for musical expression, and large-scale interactive installations. Her research interests are exploring bio-inspired creativity, playfulness and failure in performance, community-engaged research, autoethnographic methodology, feminist epistemology, and sonic cyberfeminisms. She is passionate about community building and creating multicultural and collaborative learning experiences for students through technology-driven creativity.

This is the music of Preston Manor School and its Saturday Music Academy. Sarah Wallin Huff has enjoyed her work as a composer for concert halls and soundtracks since 1993. Her original compositions have been performed throughout the States and abroad, including the Exeter Phoenix Auditorium in Devon, England; the Mosman Art Gallery in Sydney, Australia; the Zipper Hall in Los Angeles; and the National Opera Center in New York City. As a violinist, violist, and 6-string electric violinist, she has extensive experience playing with diverse ensembles, as well as performing on various recording projects, large and small.

Nina Kohout is a sonic storyteller who pushes the boundaries of musical obedience, forming a constant conversation between an invasive horror and a fragile purity. In her music, she connects the eerie atmosphere of ancient Slovak folklore, classical music elements, and dark electronica.

In 2020, Slovakia-born, UK-based artist Nina Kohout won the Radio_Head award for the Newcomer of the Year (curated by the Slovak national radio), which she received for her debut single Blue Sunray. Her critically acclaimed debut EP Pandemonium (incl. the song Moonlight featured as the Song of the Day by KEXP Radio) got Nina’s name mentioned in BBC Radio 6 Music and music magazines such as Under the Radar, Louder than War, and Electronic Sound magazine. Her past shows include playing at the iconic Kino Šiška in Ljubljana, the Liveurope Festival in Prague, the Ahoi! Pop Festival in Linz, as well as the biggest European showcase festival Eurosonic in the Netherlands.

Her autumn tour will include playing at the Waves Vienna Festival, BUSH Festival in Budapest, and Santeria in Milan.
