Washannin gang! I recently realized & been thinking that some of my 'Face" type beats wasn't really capturing the "face" sound if you get what I mean. This one right here.....🤌. Happy with how this one turned out. It was originally supposed to drop yesterday. but it just wasn't quite ready. The majority of these sounds (except for the strings) came from the "Aviator" VST by Exclusive Heat. The strings came from the "BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover" & at the end I wanted to add some extra emotion to the strings plus I had already liked melody I had put down for the strings, so to do so i just layered the notes an octave higher & an octave lower to really add that layer of emotion. Lil double 0... probably in my opinion the hardest rapper out of Memphis right now in my opinion. When i made this I had the mindset of making something dark but still empty so that artist could still get on it, & one method I did to make sure of this was I used serato sample to stem out the lyrics of a lil double 0 song and added it to this beat & it didn't sound to mashed or crowded. I really rock with this one & personally I think these are my best kinda beats. I like switching it up and challenging myself from time to time but sometimes you gotta go back to the basics.
