Action - Bumblebee

Midlands based band, What We Are, brings a boasting blend of sassy soul, roots rhythm, acoustic melodies with a bright streak of lyrical activism. Composed of Natalie Baxter (Swedish vocalist, songwriter and ukulele player) and Nic Lansdell (South African percussionist, music producer and creator of the Dream Tank Drum), this couple have been jamming original music together since 2013, appearing at festivals in northern Botswana, Mozambique, Swaziland and many venues around South Africa. Creating songs that reflect the current times, What We Are believe in the potency of musical medicine, allowing their audience to revisit what makes music so powerful: emotion, passion and its ability to unite the people.
