The new Brussels-based output for mutant sounds is back with a second uncompromising opus exploring different modalities of drastic post-punk, noise-infused techno, hybrid body music, metal-adjacent drone AND BEYOND.
Marlen is a long time multi-instrument and multi-disciplinary live performer. He has been effortlessly crossing genre boundaries with many electronic music projects for the past 15 years: from experimental noise to dubstep, techno, trap, breakcore, barock... you name it. He also brings his passion for live performances into the theatre projects he is part of.
His main focusses nowadays are leaning towards modular synths and then performing mental breaky techno blended with some amen breaks, industrial noise or gabber elements.

BOOM ! We are kicking off 2025 in dark and noisy territories with our new release series. 
The 1st offering is “Coping Mechanism” a collaborative project stemming from the original track of EVE SCHWARZ - bringing along the gritty soundscapes of Berlin noise and industrial techno scenes into a mechanical forward-thinking ammunition of devastating rhythms, featured by Canadian noise-engineer DOLGENER, here on menacing vocals duties recalling the darker overlaps between industrial metal and power electronics. 
A very unique collaboration between these two. 
And because the party started oh so well already, we both agreed to invite more friends from Berlin - this is why Tresor resident LIZA AIKIN and Hands label affiliate TEMPLER joined the mission, respectively with some very personal reinterpretations of bleak, hypnotizing and rhythm-focused compositions. 
Liza Aikin presents a four-on-the-floor military-like dancefloor wormhole while Templer strikes with his harsh syncopated drum signature. 
As drips of sweat start to rain below the rusty ceilings, you can hear Paris-based producer/dj SUBSTENCIA remix with her eerie dark ambient-layered technoid aesthetic. 
But while for some “the party never ends”, here we reasonably decided to close this opus with Mutant Modality founder and Brussels-based artist, OTTOMAN GRÜW conveying a very personal “vocal remix” filled with atmospheric chaos, a Techno-EBM dancefloor banger for the dystopian goth club.

We're back again! This time with an artist whose emotional depth struck a powerful chord with us: Pierre-Berge Cia. 
On UNKNOWN BODY FEEDBACK, Pierre delivers a visceral sonic exploration through voice, guitar and electronics, drawing from the raw energy of EBM, the atmospheric depths of 90’s electronica, while seamlessly merging these elements into dissonant technoid structures on the verge of collapse. 
And for remix duties? We’ve got some heavy-hitting material from an incredible lineup of guests.

Kicking things off, we have the renowned German electronic artist Daniel Myer. 
With a career that stretches across more than two decades, Daniel has made a significant impact on a variety of genres like industrial, electro or IDM — and has worked alongside legends such as Depeche Mode, Front 242. 
His work spans multiple aliases, including Haujobb, Architect, and his latest venture, Rendered.

Next, we’re excited to feature Second Tension, a project from Greek producer and Persephonic Sirens affiliate Stavros Tilkeridis. 
With nearly 30 years of experience, Stavros has traversed everything from loop-based composition in the vein of Pierre Schaeffer to spiritual, psychedelic, and ambient music, ultimately shaping the dark, mystical techno sound he’s known for today.

We’re thrilled to welcome back Maze DK, a Polish DJ and producer now based in Berlin. 
Her crafts merge experimental, techno and EBM with haunted, factory-like atmospheres. 
The word “industrial” is a mere euphemism here. 
An active member of the community, Maze DK collaborates with queer-feminist collectives, including High Queer and Golosa where she holds a residency.

Finally, Seoul-based Purusha brings her signature blend of driving dark rhythms and experimental textures. 
She has carved out a unique niche in Eastern Asia and beyond, notably through her involvement with Volnost Club and the GwyMyeon music label — two projects whose subversive spirit holds a special place in our hearts.

The Belgian label Mutant Modality returns with the release of Unknown Body Feedback, an album in which Pierre Berge-Cia delivers a visceral sonic exploration through voice, guitar, and electronics. Drawing inspiration from the raw energy of EBM and the atmospheric depths of ’90s electronica, he seamlessly fuses these elements into dissonant, technoid structures teetering on the edge of collapse.

Among the artists featured on this album is renowned German electronic musician Daniel Myer. With a career spanning over two decades, Daniel has made a significant impact across genres like industrial, electro, and IDM, collaborating with legends such as Depeche Mode and Front 242.

Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the German dj & producer Eve Schwarz (Furanum Records / Mutant Modality).

Infected by the late 90s Schranz wave Eve cannot deny her Frankfurt/Main roots and the affection for energetic warehouse bangers. 
Her ongoing search for raw, edgy tunes, reflecting the typical intensity of her mixes, however has taken her across various European scenes and genres. 
Industrial noise, combined with straight, driving techno elements and distorted breaks might define her signature sound. 
Although a good dose of unpredictability and experimental challenge underline her diverse artistic appearance. 
After residencies in her home city Frankfurt (Tanzhaus West) and Cologne (Uncut Music), hosting several events at the side of electro master Anthony Rother, and seeing more and more venues of her early years vanish, Eve settled over to Berlin in 2017 with the intention to keep growing behind the decks and steadily develop her musical output. 

Beside regular gigs in major clubs like Tresor, Ohm, Kitkat, Renate or Watergate Eve is currently working on a new minimalistic and raw hardware live-setup as well as the incorporation of contemporary and classic vinyl into her DJ sets to re-connect to her roots and to find new inspiration in the origins of her electronic journey.

6SISS and ELAINA VIERCE present a high-voltage split release, with remixes from SWARM INTELLIGENCE, TORN RELICS, SMFORMA and ANASTASIA GIOVANI.

CONTROL & COLLAPSE is an exploration of techno structures and rhythmic noises through relentless broken patterns and powerful industrial elements — woven together to create a heavy, mind-bending panorama of sound. 
Ready to collapse, yet made to control. 
To add more fun to the party, on remix duties we have a very special and fierce line-up :

• SWARM INTELLIGENCE (Berlin) : a titan of sound design within industrial techno with an experimental edge. 
Originally from Ireland, the project is known for crafting intense, multilayered, and meticulously constructed dancefloor weapons

• TORN RELICS (London) : a duo composed of Rommek and Aimée M. whom we hosted in Brussels during our last event for a masterful performance. 
They blend electric violin, modular synthesizers, drum machines, and ethereal vocals to create cinematic soundscapes that merge ancient folk influences with dystopian rhythms

• SMFORMA (Barcelona) : another great duo, Mario F. on electronics and Jogile D. on voice/electronics—known for their raw and uncompromising live performances and abrasive productions that fuse techno, industrial, and EBM. 
We got the chance to meet in person for the first time on early December <3

• ANASTASIA GIOVANI (Los Angeles) : DJ, producer, and SXTCY affiliate, known for her punishing, driving, and dark rhythmic techno. 
An exciting upcoming artist that will probably keep blowing our minds in the upcoming times.
