I’m really happy to present episode 30 of Connections! What started as a little hobby and a challenge for myself, has become a real passion project and something I take pride in and put a lot of effort into. Some of the episodes have really taken off, like episode 16 has been played over 10k times which is unreal to me!

Opening this week is «Coruto» from Jiminy Hop's new EP on Univack. Continuing with a really cinematic track from San Diego based producer Myron Eugene, «Divided by Decisions» on One Of Those Days. This track got me thinking of The Revenant or something with those big emotional strings, love it!

Another track I really love in this weeks mix is «Octo» from Japanese producer Yumi Kobayashi, out on 3rd Avenue. Yet another highlight is «Robobass» from the super talented Argentinian producer Mike Griego, from the «Antidote» EP on his own brand new label A Line In The Sand. Hope you enjoy this weeks mix!

As we start to close out the year I wanted to do a series of yearmixes including my favorite tracks that have been featured on Connections. To be honest I'm a little amazed to have put out 40 editions, but it just shows that music has been very important to me as this has been kind of a shitty year, and I hope 2024 will be better.

This first part is all about organic house, with a couple of afro house tracks and some more uptempo stuff near the end (and even a track from 2022 I realized a little bit too late, oops), but with everything staying close to that sort of warm-up vibe. Hope you enjoy, cheers!
