Temple Of Harmony - Episode 21

With the sad news that the man MYST is hanging up the headphones and no longer producing hardstyle I felt it only fitting to record a 90 minute set of some of my favourite tracks and collaborations that he has made over  the years
For me he has been one of the most consistent melodic raw producers of the modern day in the hardstyle scene and his set with Degos and Redone at QBase 2018 will live long in the memory

Soul Intent aka Alex Judd started his journey into production started in 2005 when Alex set up Brutal Recordings with a group of Nottingham based DJ's and producers under the name Dataset. 

Then in December 2006 Alex sent off some solo material which received airplay from the likes of Mary Ann Hobbs and Grooverider on Radio 1, and DJ Flight on BBC 1Xtra.

The buzz around his productions continued to grow and in 2010 Pendulum included 'Rebel Music' (released on DJ Randall’s Mac 2 imprint) in their Radio 1 Essential Mix.

In 2013 Alex started his own imprint Lossless Music (inc sub-labels Dope Plates and Exkursions). Releases have enjoyed high praise of some of the worlds leading music press including DJ Mag (9/10 for LOSS004) and Mixmag (DnB Tune of the Month for LOSS005).

An active DJ in UK and Europe, Alex has performed at respected parties including City Flow (Belgium), Star Warz (Belgium), Sun & Bass (Sardinia), Cheeky Mondays (Holland), Airport Jam (Estonia), Fabric (UK), Detonate (UK), Spectrum (Ireland) and Soul In Motion (UK).

Dj from Bordeaux in France, Tenshi Klaus, whose real name is Aurélien Vacher, is an artist influenced by the Rawstyle, Hardstyle and Frenchcore musical styles.

In January 2020, he releases his podcast "Temple Of Harmony". Every first Sunday of the month a new episode will be released.

Strange, but true:
I love medieval music on traditional instruments, that was featured in the ZILLO magazine (which is gone meanwhile - a pitty!).
However, modern electronic dance music being presented by the SONIC SEDUCER journal is fascinating me, too.
So why should I not try to marry this unequal couple?
During the wedding preparations - meaning my first experiments with mixing both music styles - it became quite obvious for me, that there is more harmony, but also suspense in this combination than thought before.
