I really struggled to name and describe this “atrociously wicked” track. 😈

It’s ambient Jim, but not as we know it.

It’s mysterious and cinematic, with some delicate parts, but a fight between the strings, drums, and electronics is what makes this track different. 

Even the premature end feels off, what with the bass about to hit and transform it into something you could move to.

Anyhow, I hope you like this schizophrenic track, and maybe you’ll find your own favourite element in amongst this infamous battle. Mines the calm at around 1:30. 🕊️☮️

A strange melody I heard while in a medication induced, altered, hypnotic/hypnagogia-like waking-dream sort of state. It makes me think of some sort of water dark ride at a theme park, or a meloncholic, distant memory of a circus or fairground I may have visited as a child. I'm not much of a musician, but since I'm doing a circus-themed webcomic, I figured I'd try sharing this.

Has anyone heard a song that sounds like this one before? It could possibly be based off a real song? It feels nostalgic to me, perhaps its from a long-lost memory? I don't know...

My stance on AI "music": Procedurally generated music shows people that you have no respect for musicians nor the craft of music. You are not an artist if you resort to using it, but maybe it fills the hole where your artistic integrity should be? Composing comes from the heart and soul, not from settling for a program that imitates something that is supposed to resemble originality but which it by design cannot. Every second of music should be felt and feeling cannot be generated.
