Nella versione dell’EP pubblicata nel 2021, la post-produzione di questo brano era completamente sbilanciata. Purtroppo capita. Avevo lavorato tre mesi consecutivi solo alla produzione, seguiti dalla post-produzione, grafiche, foto, e così via. A forza di lavorare così tanto, mi erano “scoppiate le orecchie” e ho sbagliato il missaggio. La conclusione della produzione di questo brano fu, in generale, un po’ deludente: volevo creare la stessa struttura dei brani precedenti, ma per questa composizione non ci riuscii del tutto, diventando semplicemente una progressione armonica.

Finita la parte di produzione, e uscito dalla fase di analisi critica, mi sedetti sul balcone ad ascoltare i brani in successione. Arrivato ad “AMBIZIONE,” mi resi conto della sua bellezza e scoppiai in lacrime per circa dieci minuti. Fu il momento in cui capii di aver davvero concluso il progetto.

Il brano era perfetto per descrivere l’immagine che avevo usato come spunto e concludeva quello che era il mio racconto. Quando scrissi la descrizione originale, mi venne un profondo brivido:

"Esco e dirigo lo sguardo al cielo. È la mia prima fonte d'ispirazione. Posso rimanere sbalordito dalla bellezza della luce oppure essere inghiottito dallo spazio tra le stelle.

L'universo è il mio maestro, e mi ha insegnato che l'ambizione non ha obiettivi né ideali. La vera ambizione va oltre tutto ciò che ho visto e posso vedere.”

After killing Cleo the Ceaseless on the Bad Boys' Manor in the Watcher Run, the Coral Isles, TIES Tower and Skynet are relatively barren and devoid of life, albeit with a LOT of minibosses (notably including Etho and Tango). That is...until you get to the BLOSSOME.
The BLOSSOME has now turned from a somewhat easygoing final area where you confront Grian at the end to a very well-defended fortress that is normally blocked off unless you have the necessary item from fighting (or sparing) a miniboss at the end of the Skynet, which you can then use to blow up the entrance. Enemies are now even denser and more powerful to match your current strength, there are traps and things to avoid everywhere, and the BLOSSOME grind is the largest in the entire game.
Grian is nowhere to be found throughout the Hotland arc after encountering him at Etho's Lab, although signs of his presence exist. He is one of the five (Scott, Gem, Pearl, Joel, and Grian) people considered to still be alive by the time you get to the BLOSSOME, six if you count Judge Judy & Executioner as Jimmy.

Gem (GeminiTay) and Pearl (PearlescentMoon) await you at the end of the BLOSSOME to fight you once the kill counter is exhausted. Failing to exhaust the counter before the fight results in nobody being present. The fight is one of the only two to use a different soul color (Cyan, which allows you to dash akin to JSAB and gives you lower gravity), and is a lot like UTY Ceroba's geno fight combined with the Deltatraveler Section 2 obliteration boss, as Pearl can drain your max HP. There are a LOT of ice attacks, just like a battle later on...
This plays in the first phase of the ensuing battle.
