FUTURE CAKE | GENERATIONS @ NEUMOS SEATTLE | (MELODIC SET)

I manifested the idea of Gabe & I going B2B back in March 2023 when we had first met. 

I knew within a few conversations, interactions, and sets I've heard him play, that he has the right energy in this scene that I love. The type of energy that wants all the homies to win; spreading the wealth and love from doing this music thing. 

As someone who also believes in believing in the success and potential of others; I gave my full trust into Gabe, that we would be able to do great things together. This was the first REYSUO set and definitely NOT the last! We had so much fun making this set & we really made the most edits we could for it.

It truly meant a lot to us to be able to have the whole experience of building a set together, promoting it, testing it, and playing it out for y'all. 

The excitement for us built up for months and months, to finally have gotten to release that energy together and for y'all, was a dream.

We know it's been half a year since the show, we always had an idea of releasing this set, now we are!

Bio:
Brian Schatzel, Adastra, is a Seattle-based music producer and DJ, known for blending melodic-focused EDM with pop sensibility, both in the studio and with his dynamic, high energy DJ sets. With residencies at multiple Seattle nightclubs over the past five years, he has garnered experience adding his flexible style to a variety of genres.

When it comes to music production, Adastra, who's name comes from the Latin translation of "to the stars”, often focuses his sound around a sense of sci-fi euphoria. Exploring everything from future bass, trap, melodic dubstep, and even trance, his original music has earned features and releases on several music collectives/labels, blogs, and YouTube channels. The past couple years have seen his first official remix for Monstercat artist, Disero, and multiple releases on Seattle powerhouse label, Simplify Recordings. Most recently, his Apollo EP has received the attention and support of artists such as Tokyo Machine, Adventure Club, Caslow, and Brainheart.

Aside from producing and DJing, Adastra has always been an advocate of growing and supporting the local music community. Whether it's co-founding a music production club at the University of Washington (@empatuw), or maintaining his "PNW Producer Radio" Spotify playlist, Adastra is always looking for ways to help local artists and support his local scene.
