Maybe my memory is plainly not what it used to be, But I don’t believe I’ve ever seen it this way Right is wrong, and wrong is right, up is down and black is white. Am I losing it? Well, I might just be.  Am I wrong, or is this just plain crazy?   Doncha know, something’s gotta change. You know it’s bad when everything gets hazy, and normal starts looking strange.  Folks you thought you knew so well found a hole, and down they fell. Still they think they’re doing swell. Politicians crossing lines, sure, that happens all the time. Now it happens in prime time.  Am I wrong, or is this just plain crazy?   Doncha know, something’s gotta change. You know it’s bad when everything gets hazy, and normal starts looking strange.  And the stories keep on coming, so you file ‘em.  If they’re true or not is of no consequence If the inmates will be running the asylum, Maybe Mexico will buy that fence.  You believe what you believe, and pass along what you received If you think it’s gonna help your side. Sometimes what we think we see is just altered reality. But sometimes it is a bald-faced lie.  Am I wrong, or is this just plain crazy?   Doncha know, something’s gotta change. You know it’s bad when everything gets hazy, and normal starts looking strange.  Stranger than the sport that they call curling.   Stranger than a duck-billed platypus. Stranger than an evening with Rod Serling. I wonder if there’s hope for us.
