Victor is back from his road trip and catches up with Julia Cooper at the N.P.A.C. (North Port Art Center).

Poetry often stirs an arrangement of emotions, and so will the story of Julia’s journey.

This thirty-something-year-old, mother of two-life challenges has been monumental from the start. With a dysfunctional family childhood due to alcohol addiction, mental illness, then cancer all the while raising two autistic children at such a young age, one might expect a cynical view of life, right?
 
Well, listen in, and you’ll meet an inspiring, vibrant, funny, and very dedicated, hardworking mother who found the courage to struggle and overcome those challenges. Julia’s powerful and reflective poetry has become a major driving force as a therapeutic release for that.  

Her reading of “Stages of Grief and Nature Too” is a perfect example of why her works are so popular and connect with so many.

Avi is an artist. In his music he expresses himself in English as well as in Dutch. His style is best described as a versatile mix of hip hop and raggamuffin. The MC and producer checked the mic for the first time in 1995. While broadening his horizons by singing, playing the drums, African drums and bass guitar he also developed his rap and producing skills.

Avi created the platform Grey Area. His music, productions and drawings are artworks. And they all became by the Grey Area state of mind.
