I took a grand piano to Swinging Bridge in Yosemite National Park and performed a concert of improvised music from sunrise to sunset, inspired by the humbling beauty and immense scale of the nature that surrounded me. It was profound to be beneath towering redwoods, by shocks of bright green spring grasses, and enchanted by the pure white vail of Yosemite Falls!

I took a grand piano into Badwater Basin, in Death Valley National Park and performed a concert of improvised music from sunrise to sunset, inspired by the humbling beauty and immense scale of the nature that surrounded me. Many people come and talk to me while I play, they share stories about how nature changes their lives for the better, stories about visiting the National Parks with their parents, and ask me a lot of funny questions. This excerpt features a conversation with a park goer who tears up telling me about how he used to come to Death Valley with his father that has since passed. How now he was creating new loving memories with his partner. Nature, like music, is such a conduit for love!
