After a couple month hiatus, a new episode of The Brooklyn Blast Furnace is available now.
I spoke to my guest at the Nighthawk Cinema at the Vinnie Stigma book release party and set this up. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you... SKAM DUST. He came to Bay Ridge from the Lower East Side to talk shit in my living room. We talk about his recent, thirty day tour in Mexico, his upcoming tour in Chile, and his new record that should be out in the coming months. We're all over the place on this one, which is what I expected. We speak on how he always seems to find himself in random places and unique situations to say the least. SKAM rules!

When I say Bayway... you say...

Motherfuckers, my guest on this episode of The Brooklyn Blast Furnace is JayWay. Singer for Bayway, 25 Ta Life and guitarist for Shattered Realm. He also has a rap project out under the name JayWay 908.
Bayway has quickly caught on with the hardcore scene, and I'm all in as well. I met Jay only a couple months ago in person out on Long Island at a show. We started to bullshit for a few minutes and asked him if he'd be down to come on. We go into that certain moment that we all have that was our turning point headed into the hardcore scene. A couple of his former bands, and eventually the birth of Bayway. He is also the new singer for the legendary 25 Ta Life, so of course, I had to ask how that all came about. A super humble guy who loves and appreciates every aspect of making music and playing liv. He'll be back on the podcast, I'm sure. I hope you all enjoy this. Respect.

My guest on this episode of The Brooklyn Blast Furnace Podcast is one of The Godfathers of Hardcore... singer for Agnostic Front, The Alligators, The Disasters, former bass player for The Psychos and Madball... author of "My Riot: Agnostic Front, Grit, Guts & Glory" and his new book, "WITH TIME: The Roger Miret Archives"... ladies and gentlemen, one of the greatest to ever do it... my friend, Roger Miret!

We had a cool, laid-back conversation about everything from his books, holding onto memories, how hardcore and the culture is so important to us, and many other people on a personal level. I decided to pick his brain about one of my all-time favorite AF records, "Liberty & Justice For...", what's going on with The Alligators and what's next up for Agnostic Front. 

I'm grateful for the time he put aside for me. Especially since he rarely does podcasts as well as taking time away from his family to talk to me for a little while.
