Purple Universe est une association regroupant un label “Purple Records” et une agence de booking “Purple Agency”. C’est en début d’année 2023 que trois amies Julie (Dju:n), Lisa (Swooh) et Pauline (Poppie) créent la structure. Purple Universe aspire à être la plus complète possible sur l’accompagnement d’artistes, la distribution de musiques électroniques et l’organisation d’événements en club en France et ailleurs.

Artistiquement, la couleur mauve représente la porte de l’au-delà, le passage vers l’autre côté, le côté invisible dédié aux esprits et aux âmes. Associée au mystère de la lumière du soir, elle aide les artistes à mettre en avant ce qu’il y a de non conventionnel chez eux, dans le respect de leur liberté de création.

Appolonie, one of La Cité Phocéenne's finest vocalists, unveils her latest EP, Red Silk, set for release on June 19. Trained at London's Guildhall School, the Franco-British artist effortlessly blends new soul, R&B, and jazz, drawing inspiration from icons such as Aaliyah, Janet Jackson, and FKA Twigs. Her distinct voice and heartfelt compositions reflect the depth and diversity of her musical influences.

On Red Silk, Appolonie shifts away from the jazz-rich feel of her previous work, embracing a more urban sound through collaborations with hip-hop and electronic producers D'monk and Creestal. This transition showcases a bold fusion of styles, staying in tune with contemporary trends while preserving her unique authenticity.

The EP serves as a potent declaration of female empowerment, resonating strongly with the ongoing feminist movement. Further emphasizing this, the EP's remixes feature a lineup of talented female producers, including Dylan Dylan, Mab'ish, Naajet, La Dame, and Omakase bosses Goldie B and Kumanope.

Naajet, a key figure in the Parisian scene for nearly a decade, takes a step forward with the launch of her own label SWEAT Records and the release of her new EP “High On Heat”.

Between her explosive sets in the best clubs of Paris and across France, her Bande de Filles collective, and her role as a DJ in the Madoki Company with the Waacking piece D.I.S.C.O., Naajet is a true groove machine. With a recent residency at Sacré, she created “SWEAT”, a series of events celebrating club culture and the art of letting go, blending this way her two passions: music and dance. After notable releases on Shall Not Fade, Monki & Friends, and Nowadays Records, launching SWEAT Records was the logical next step to channel all the energy of her sets into her own productions. "High On Heat" lays the foundation for the label's identity: a raw energy and rhythms designed to make you dance until you sweat.
