The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is predicting an above normal Atlantic hurricane season with 13-19 named storms as the season begins on June 1st. 

5/29/25 - NOAA predicts an above normal Atlantic hurricane season

Residents and visitors along the Texas coast and much further inland should take potential hurricane and tropical storm warnings seriously.  Having an evacuation plan is very important during this current hurricane season which began June 1st and ends November 30th.

6/11/25 - Hurricanes can cause extensive inland damage

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth is forecasting above normal temperatures across Texas in July.  Meanwhile, the Atlantic Basin hurricane season has been relatively quiet so far. 

7/1/25 - Another hot July forecast for Texas

The guest host for today's show is Brad Bannon. Brad runs Bannon Communications Research, a polling, message development and media firm which helps labor unions, progressive issue groups and Democratic candidates win public affairs and political campaigns.
