Inspired by the atmosphere of Planet Caravan with some modern swirl of neo-psychedelia, this piece layers vintage textures with oriental instruments and piano-driven introspection.
Think slow-motion stardust, echoing synths, and late-night thoughts at the edge of space.
Best experienced with headphones and a quiet sky.

A version of this song won Best Psychedelic Song in The (2024) Psychedelic Film and Music Festival. I wrote this and Michael Davis and I performed. I sang lead and played my Fender Stratocaster. Mike sang backup and played electronic synthesizer and rhythm equipment that he had. We recorded this at Mike’s second floor loft located somewhere just north of Division Street on Honore Street in Chicago, if memory serves. It could have been the third floor. A log sheet has this recorded in 1982.
