       This song I wrote back in 2018 for Christmas/New Years time. It's another of my sugary, corny, feel good song that we all need right about now. I don't know what the future holds for us but I do remember how it used to be and how it used to be was fine with me! Charlie sang this one around the same time he sang "Autumn Woods".          As in every New Year's Eve we like to remember good friends and family and hope that the New Year is better than the old one but I'm not too sure that will happen anymore! So here's my hope, that all of your memories remain sweet, the old ones and the new ones, and that we all have a Happy New Year!!! This song I wrote way back in 2003 about the little lies that lurk in between the lines that people say sometimes or that you say to yourself too! I was in between marriages and was in a full-blown mid-life crisis mode at the time! 😂 6 years of way too much partying! It was fun while it lasted though! 😉 I re-recorded it during the pandemic and sang it myself. Sorry about that! Here's the video link:

Here's another love related ballad that I wrote in 2006, around the time when I married my wonderful wife and my best friend Anita!! The lyrics are about how seldom my beautiful wife wears blue, which is my favorite color, but she looks great in all colors! It's another love ballad that wasn't recorded so well, I still had my old 8-track Tascam back then and I think it could have been mixed a whole lot better. I was still tinkering and getting used to the recorder! Charlie sang it perfectly and I double tracked his vocals, he also added some harmonica on the track as well. The video I put together last month and I threw in a lot of eye-candy and special effects at it to enhance it!

 I had forgotten about this song but when I was producing the video for "She Rescues Me" I noticed the song on the CD and did a video for it too! The melody is nice and the lyrics are sweet and it flows ok. Not my best song but it ain't my worst either! Very corny and old fashioned lyrics but hey, I'm an old fashioned lyric myslefI!😂 Take care and I hope everybody enjoys it! Thanks for dropping by and listening!
