multi Genre DJ, been Djing since the 90s. First started out listening to Happy Hardcore back in the early 90s from the likes of Stu Allan on his radio show then of to the record shop to try & get the tunes that had been heard. After listening to various DJs like Dougal, Hixxy, SY, Slipmatt just to name a few this got me wanting to know & how to learn to mix, my first pair of decks were soundlab belt drives, then when I had enough money I moved onto Gemini Direct Drives & was loving Mixing. A big influence for me has to be the legend that is DJ Brisk, every mix I’ve ever heard has been flawless, fast & full of energy, always loved his style of mixing & scratching as it’s so unique to any other DJ I’ve heard, the likes of listening to DJ Qbert, Hype & DJ SY got me into learning to scratch as it just adds that extra element which is different & when mastered can bring a mix to life with that little extra oomff! then towards the end of 99 got into Hard House & Trance. Around 2005 I took a break from Djing due to work & family then when lockdown happened got back into again & got an upgrade to some Audio Technica Direct Drives & some Kam CDJs as I wanted to touch on Digital Mixing but Vinyl will always be my first love & my go to over Digital. Now 2025 & have just purchased a pair of Reloop RP 7000 MK2 Turntables & are brilliant, I’ve always had self doubt & not much confidence, I’ve done one small club back at the end of 99 & in the early 00s did a set at an event in Leeds which was a disaster as there were no stylus’s on the turntables but luckily my friend was doing a set & lent me his folder of CDs to just wing a mix together lol I would love the opportunity to start doing sets out live to people, anyways I Will be adding all mixes past & present, I hope you enjoy the tunes & mixes, if u do plz give me a follow to hear more.

BIO:

My passion for music, especially rave stems from a young age. I got my first pair of Numark turntables for my birthday at the age of 13, and I've never looked back! I started mixing Makina, and a little bit of bounce too. I invested in a set of Technics at around the age of 16, and started to take my mixing more seriously, with a lot of practice, and others showing me how to beatmatch properly. At 18 my love for hardcore was reignited, and I started buying hardcore vinyl. With hardcore vinyl pressing in the decline, i took the decision at around 20 to go into the world of digital Dj'ing, and i invested in my first pair of CDJ's. Since then i have upgraded a couple of times, and i now use a pair of Pioneer CDJ 2000's, which i have had for around 7 or 8 years now. I'll try my hand at pretty much any music style, but my main love is for hardcore & makina. Feel free to ask any questions, don't forget to like and share if you listen and enjoy my mixes! Oi Oi I’m Ryan. Here’s a little bio. 

I bought my first set of turntables at the age of 14 when I was already collecting Happy Hardcore records. DJing was one of those things that just come naturally to me. My friends were always over at my house for mixing sessions. At 16 I started playing alongside my brother and friends every fortnight at a local bar for an under 18’s night playing Happy Hardcore. Two years later, out of a thousand entrants my mix tape came top five in the ‘Ministry Of Sound DJ Of The Year’. I played a live vinyl set in Topshop situated in London’s Oxford Street, on a busy Saturday afternoon. I continued entering DJ competitions and talent nights along with a mid-week slot at a local bar. At 20, I was given full weekend residency at my local nightclub Steam, playing Old-Skool, House and Trance. In the next two years I reached the final of the ‘Young DJ Of The Year’ competitions, which were run by the Staffordshire & Cheshire’s number one radio station, Signal 1. I came out as overall winner of the competition in 2002. My prize was my first ever pair of Technics 1210’s (which I still use), mixer, flight cases and the opportunity to play a live set at Café Mambo in Ibiza. The win also landed me a set at the opening night of the Stoke club, Lomax, for the ‘Youth Upfront Awards’. I then tried to further my career by signing onto the internet DJ agencies, 'Topjox' and 'Club Dreams', sending out demos to gain recognition. In the early summer of 2004 I decide to try my luck by booking a one way ticket to Ibiza for the season. It was tough at first, but by the end of July I had a residency at the brilliant Plastik Lounge in San Antonio. After a few weeks playing with some of San An’s finest house DJ’s, I was given the chance to warm up the decks in Es Paradis funky lounge. But best of all, after weeks of trying, Alex Ellenger, who with Judge Jules ran the funky room in Eden, give me the finest two hours of my DJ career by asking me to play a set. The next year I returned to Ibiza and became one of the residents in the swanky new Hush bar in San Antonio's west end. When I came back to England I started my own night in a local bar. I then became one of the Tech-House/Hard House residents for my brother's local club night ‘Euphonic Fuzion’. 

Even though I enjoy playing many styles of dance music, I've never lost my passion for Happy Hardcore. It will forever be the biggest part of me musically and that's why I created this page. To share the love for this incredible music.
