In Guinea, the publication of the U.S. State Department's report on the human rights situation in the country has sparked outrage says the Minister of Justice.
According to Alphonse Charles Wright, the report is not based on up-to-date information that is consistent with reality.

The Gambia is on the verge of setting up a special prosecutor’s office to deal with crimes committed under former President Yahya Jammeh.
The court will be set up under the ministry of justice to hear all crimes committed from 1994 to 2017.
The government has also initiated talks with the regional bloc - ECOWAS to assist the Gambia in establishing an international court to hear criminal cases involving perpetrators.
The Attorney General and Minister of Justice Minister DawdaJallow made the revelation before members of the National Assembly.

Une attaque comme une façon pour les groupes armés de se signaler au président Burkinabè de la transition, le capitaine Ibrahim Traoré qui séjourne depuis hier dans la ville de Kaya.

au Nigéria la police annonce la libération de 10 otages dont des enfants. 
Ils avaient été kidnappés par un groupe armé communément appelé des bandits.
Cela fait suite à une de ses opérations contre ls groupes armés dans l'État du Niger à l’ouest du Nigéria.
Cette opération de police a également permis l'arrestation de trois personnes et la saisie d'armes et de munitions appartenant aux gangs.
Le nord du Nigeria est confronté à une crise sécuritaire majeure provoquée par des bandes armées. Ces gangs sont impliqués dans de nombreux crimes, notamment des enlèvements contre paiement de rançon, des vols et des meurtres.

En Guinée, un élément des brigades anti criminalité en fonction condamné hier. Une première depuis l’arrivée des militaires au pouvoir. 
L’adjudant-chef Moriba Camaraest reconnu coupable du meurtre du jeune Thierno Mamadou Diallo le 1er juin 2022 en marge de la manifestation contre la hausse du prix du carburant. 
Le sous-officier a été condamné par le juge du tribunal criminel de Dixinn à 10 ans de prison ferme et au paiement de 100 millions de francs guinéens à la partie civile.

In Senegal, an airport security guard Yarga Sy, accused of attempted murder against opposition political leader Ousmane Sonko, has been arrested and prosecuted.
The public prosecutor at the Dakar Court of Appeal, IbrahimaBakhoum, today Tuesday provided an update on the development.
He also addressed the clashes in Dakar last week, which were related to Sonko's defamation trial.
Multiple people were arrested following clashes between Sonko's supporters and the police.

We now head to chad where The United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) reports the arrival of thousands of refugees and asylum seekers in the provinces of Sila and Ouaddai over the past weekend, fleeing inter-communal conflict in West Darfur. 
The UNHCR said its humanitarian partners are providing emergency shelter, household items, water and sanitation services, and food to help the refugees settle in their new host country.
