Progressive Mix - SetteeFaction - 26-04-25

Keeping things moving here @PBTM Towers, we are bringing once again a new/first artist along with well-known key players of the label.

We bring you a new one from Sri Lanka, fFarq Singularity with Death of the Princess, this comes with two originals, Death of the Princess and Gravitational Dance. These originals come with two remixes from 2Reels, one from Jero Nougues and another from Nila, once again a global release, Sri Lanka, USA, Arg and NZ.

The signature track Death of the Princess is a driving Progressive 4/4 that moves to the break. At this point, you get an almost minimal, acid hook that hits hard, a superb opener here.

Next is the first of the remixes, this one coming from Pro B regular Argentina's Jero Nougues, Jero does what Jero does best, he gives that South American touch, The Kick, Bass push this, and once that hook comes in here has brought it down a few octaves keeping the original elements but in his style, we love it.

We then get the first of two remixes coming in from LA / 2reels, both of these give something very different and very very good, the first up Grim's Reel 1 is a darker, techy edged beast that you can pick up on the original parts throughout but giving you something very different, great company for this EP, In Heathcoats Reel 2 Rebirth, once again a very clever and different take on each of the tracks so far, this one again gives a different direction, moulding the elements from the original, the use of kick/drums and the original parts has so much going on, but perfectly put together and monster break to suit, 2 Reels smashing it here.

Next is the second original from fFarq Gravitational Dance. This one comes down a little from the title track but is a superb slab of Progressive House 4/4 gorgeousness. The kick and bass move this along, and you begin to get many more melodic elements throughout. The break hits, and that beautiful low-rumbling bassline gets the track moving once again.

Last but certainly not least, fellow Scot and good friend, and a regular of Pro B, we welcome back Nila. Nila takes the original of Gravitational and lifts it with a huge remix, This progresses along very nicely with more parts coming through as it does, until he hits you with a Break to die for!! Another outstanding piece of work here, closing out a huge EP.

As always, the best way is not to read but listen, we are very confident that something here will fit your sound, your dancefloor, and your mixes.

Hi, I'm hobby DJ for over 20 years now. I'm deep into Drum & Bass/Dubstep/Uk Breaks & Deep-Progressive House and make mixes for myself. Perhaps somebody likes some of them. I will upload mixes in diffrent electronic music genres from the mid 90's till now. I just use legal bought tracks, all rights belong to artists & labels. I really want to thank all the artists and labels who are tolerating that I use their tracks in my mixes, and for producing and releasing such fat tracks. Like I said, I'm no pro, it's just for fun.
