“Dream in Reverse” is a bleak, slow-burning portrait of a man pushed to the edge—unemployed, unseen, and unraveling. Every line drips with quiet despair: ghosted job apps, mounting debt, chronic illness, and the cold indifference of a world that’s moved on without him.

Driven by sparse instrumentation and cracked vocals, the track walks the line between resignation and decay.

There’s no light at the end of this tunnel—just the fading hum of an Uber engine, the scratch of a pen on bankruptcy forms, and a whisper that says, “Maybe next never.”

With the help of modern software, like Apple Logic Pro, Apple Main Stage or Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro, Native Instruments KONTROL S49 MK3, other tech, or AI, and the loving support of my wife and creative partners, my vision is finally coming to life.

In my tracks, I often use piano, cello, and violin, as these instruments have the power to touch the soul and evoke deep emotion.

My music blends soundtracks, instrumentals, gospel and multilingual lyrics in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Ukrainian.

Tim Aumiller and Scott Schneider of NO HOPE share thoughts on musicals, culture and the 16+ year collaborative journey of their barely-on-life support writing careers and creative endeavors. They formed NO HOPE Productions in 2003 when they presented their first musical DOSE! at the East Village’s Kraine Theatre. Since, they have written five full-length musicals and presented more than a dozen evenings of new music including SIREN/KINGS and PULLING THE PLUG at the legendary Joe’s Pub and THE YEAR AFTER at The Green Room 42. Their musical HELLO, MY NAME IS BILLY was a Backstage Critic’s Pick and a FringeNYC award winner.
