A Cascading Serenade into the Inferno (Preview)

El Roadburn, festival de referencia del metal underground, tuvo lugar hace unas semanas en Tilburg, Países Bajos. Esta ha sido la edición, según su director Walter Hoeijmakers, de mayor presupuesto en la historia de un festival que sigue sorprendiéndonos en cada cartel con muchísimas bandas que hasta entonces desconocíamos, en una cita que se ha convertido en tan exigente como imprescindible. 
En Wickend una vez más hemos asistido puntualmente a la misma y aquí estamos para contártelo, en esta ocasión con la ayuda de un buen puñado de asistentes habituales al festival y que con el devenir de los años se han convertido en amigos. En su compañía repasamos los dos primeros días de festival -jueves y viernes-, en los que hubo aproximadamente 50 actuaciones. Nos centramos en 15 de las que nos parecieron más interesantes y además de estilos musicales de lo más diverso. En orden alfabético, suenan en este programa; The Body, Concrete Winds, Envy, Faetooth, Glassing, Great Falls, The HIRS Collective, Kylesa, Maquina, Messa, Oranssi Pazuzu, Smote, Thou, Warrington Runcorn New Town Development Plan y Xiu Xiu.
