Recreating the Most Unsettling Song from Death Note

JUNE 15TH

This track is like an audio handshake between two lyrical titans from different worlds. The idea: two weeks ago, you—an emerging visionary artist—met Eminem in a private studio session arranged through mutual contacts (maybe a London–Detroit crossover for a global brand deal or anti-war message project). The energy was raw, the verses powerful—something poetic with cultural edge and emotional gravity. But time passed, and now Em’s left a voicemail with that line: “Hey mate, this is Eminem, I just called you to confirm the music lyrics that we did 2 weeks ago. Would like to go public???”

Two Weeks Notice

06/24/2025:  "Forever be Home" is my most recent song idea I have written and composed to date (across just the past two weeks), after a "dry spell" of about three years, and is now, more-or-less, fully written and composed, and likely also in its final form and lyrics.

It is written and set in a style unlike any song I have ever written previously to date (Progressive Rock, with a Dance Feel and Beat, but Christian lyrics, of course), and as I was writing and composing it, I was very surprised by how it was coming out.  I hope you enjoy it musically, and receive both edification, plus spiritual exhortation from it as well.

I can't even start express how god damn amazing Berserker 2025 was!

An experimental doof ran by two close friends, I couldn't be more stoked to see the success and absolute razor sharp professionalism balanced with the intimate safety and wholesome comfort of the space they created.
It was absolute bliss overall, especially impressive for their first time running an event!

This same set was also used at another intimate gathering for another friends birthday, Psyked Souls, and it was, again, such a fantastic comfy time filled with incredible music and brilliant people!

It was also the first time I've had the chance to showcase a complete psycore/experimental set! 
I've loved this style of music for years now and to finally be able to curate an experience filled with tracks I adore, and add some extra self expression amongst the Ableton layers, it was an absolute delight to launch this set to the people!

Thanks again for all involved in the creation and actualization for both parties, it was an absolute pleasure, and I look forward to the future times in the bush!

Berserker 2025 | Psyked Souls

Last night’s Liquid Assets show delivered. Jimmy opened the first hour with a finely tuned selection of the freshest new liquid releases, setting the tone with deep rolling vocal liquid– everything the show is known for.

In the second hour, Liquefaction took over with a set made entirely of his own unreleased dubs. Full of his emotionally rich and beautifully deep sound, the Oxford-based producer and DJ showcased why his music continues to appear in Liquid Assets tracklists month after month.

With releases dropping soon on Glitch Audio, Lizplay and Sub Wavelength – Liquefaction proved exactly why he’s one to watch.

A huge thanks to him for bringing such a personal and powerful mix.
