Initial Talk was born out of a passion for pop culture from the 80s, 90s, and 00s. In late 2017, his unofficial remix of Dua Lipa's "New Rules" went viral, leading to an official release by Warner Music UK. Since then, he has provided remixes for artists such as Kylie Minogue, Sia, Erasure, Sigrid, and others. His super cheesy retro remixes have been featured in Billboard, The Fader, The Guardian, NME, Popjustice, as well as added to Spotify’s official playlists like New Music Friday (US, UK, Sweden etc), Pop Rising, Night Pop.

Synth-pop and nu-disco artist and producer PYN toured with Kim Wilde and released her debut album 'Beat Drama' in 2023.

In the complete darkness, amidst the shadows of regrets, mistakes, and conversations with those who are not around, a chilling thought pierces through: that you are alone. It's about the desperate and passionate desire to be comforted, understood, and loved.

July has always drawn inspiration from music infused with the atmosphere of the '80s, the romanticism and poignancy of melodies and lyrics, and the sounds of analog synthesizers and drum machines. The influence of iconic bands and musicians like The Midnight, Yota, Morgan Willis, Duett, and others, as well as the sounds of films from that era, are vividly reflected in the arrangement of the song, creating a unique retro wave atmosphere.

Morgan Willis hails from the South of France, he forged his own sound and style as one of the pioneers of the genre encompassing Synth, Retrowave and reinventing 80s music. Releasing multiple singles and albums since 2012, Willis' first foray into the synthwave scene began in 2015 with the album Night Rider. Critically acclaimed Miami Calling came in 2016, followed by Sophie Teenage Dream (2017), Supernova (2018), Stay the Night EP (2018) and The Jenkins House (2019), Skyline (2020), Damier Club (2023 ), Street Dreams (2024), Hotline Summer (2025) to add to his superb catalog of Miami Vice-infused 80s electro pop. .
