New Adventures in Sound Art (NAISA) is a Canadian non-profit organization that produces performances and installations spanning the entire spectrum of electroacoustic and experimental sound art. Included in its productions are: Deep Wireless, Sound Travels, Cross Waves and SOUNDplay. 
NAISA's Soundcloud page features the Deep Wireless online compilations. recordings of past performances, and select editions of its Making Waves radio program for WGXC at the Wavefarm in Acra, NY.

Originally from Mesquite, Texas, Carly lived and worked in New Orleans, Ireland and Dubai before settling in Nashville, Tennessee to become a professional songwriter. After releasing 17 songs on Spotify as part of alt-pop project Carly Z, she is now focused on commercial country and pop songwriting.

In 2023, Carly won SongTown Country Song of the Year and Overall Song of the Year for her song Quarter Back, written with Aron Rosing. She also secured a coveted spot in the 2024 ASCAP Foundation Country Workshop in Honor of Garth Brooks, hosted by hit songwriter Corey Crowder, and won The Bluebird Cafe’s Golden Pick Award in July 2024. Carly won 1st place in the ‘Unpublished’ category and honorable mention in the country category of the International Songwriting Competition 2024, landing in the top 1% of the 14,000 entries submitted from 112 countries. Carly is a proud member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), being featured multiple times in the NSAI Top 40 and designated as ‘One to Watch’ by a panel of industry experts. In 2025, she won the Online Song Feedback Guest Favorite award for her song Quarter Back.

Her songs have been cut by artists such as Levi Foster, Julian Moon, Kanin Wren, Billy Dutch and Anna Scott.

I’ve been making music and been in bands since I was in school. I’ve always loved watching people enjoy listening, dancing and singing to the music. I feel that music is first and foremost about enjoyment. It should evoke an emotion, whatever the artist is trying to convey. 

My musical tastes are quite eclectic and varied. I tend to enjoy a song rather than a specific group or genre. And I guess this is why what I produce goes along with that ethos of variety 

Recently I’ve felt compelled to focus my time on creativity. Loss and the brevity of life have made me understand life is too short. So here I am. I hope you enjoy!
