This mix captures the authentic sound of Berlin’s early techno scene, featuring tracks from 1990 to 1993 that defined the city’s clubs in the years just after the Wall came down. Raw, driving beats and hypnotic synths echo the atmosphere of a city in transition, where East and West merged on the dancefloor. These were the real anthems of the time—intense, unpolished, and filled with the spirit of a new era. I experienced it first-hand :-) 

The opening snippet comes from the SFB documentary “Technocity Berlin” (1993).

tracks created in ableton live intro and fl studio, using solely trackpad and headphones for most productions.  my music is about how to fight sickness with a love for music, the spirit of imagination and fearless creativity - I had severe problems with my nervous system due to covid-19 for over a year and had to find a way to maintain willpower to build back my body in order to walk and breathe normally again

i did this with a wide variety of plant medicine, psychedelics, cooking knowledge, a strong love for club music, vengeance sample pack, ice cold water and a brutal work ethic

D'Mike start listen techno around 1994/95, some years later he started is work around 2010, after 2015 he was forced to stop because the lost of all the sound material (again in 2023). In the middle of 2022 he came back from the shadows and start to work again, but this time is this oldschool tribal techno. D'Mike released is work on Labels such as, Joey's Loops Records, Transfiguration Recordings, Ibiza Boys, Rawsery Records and just recently at the Label he created Viso's Recordings for the same style of Techno. D'Mike never played at the great festivals, big stages or renamed discos.

9000 has been deeply embedded in the fabric of the global club scene since the mid-80s. At a remarkably young age, he found himself drawn to London’s vibrant nightlife, frequenting iconic spots like the Electric Ballroom and the Kit Cat Club in Westbourne Grove. These formative experiences laid the foundation for his eclectic musical tastes and relentless pursuit of sonic exploration.

Since 1991, 9000 has been a key figure in the nightlife of Berlin. His wide-ranging musical spectrum moves fluidly between new wave, post-punk, and Italo disco to techno, electroclash, and even the roaring sounds of the 2020s. As a resident of Berlin and a citizen of the world, 9000’s performances reflect his deep connection to both the local underground and global club culture. 

With over three decades of experience, 9000 continues his uniquely curated journeys that blend nostalgia with modernity, taking listeners on a timeless musical voyage.

Sound creator and dj

I’m Patric, pretty new in Malmö. I moved from Stockholm, with the idea to come to a place where creativity has more space and artists are free to do their thing. 
I’ve been involved with music and the curiosity to combine their elements to create something that I hear in my mind, for a long time, but I didn’t have the right tools to make that happen. I began to look at videos on YouTube with live dj sets on vinyls, I saw Joris Woorn, playing the classic acid techno set from the 90s. After that I understood what I was looking for, that frequencie of the 303 machine making that acid noise. Then he played my today favorite artist of all time; Emmanuel top- Radio. Since then I’m collecting old acid techno tracks that have that same vibe. I continued to watch Joris live sets with his synths, there I got to know for the first time the 303 Roland. That’s where my passion to create and polish my own sound gave bird. With all the special artists I always listen and get inspired by creating I’m polishing deep and hypnotic elements, sometimes playful and this jungle feeling  from a tribe. All together with a touch of space travel at the same time. I’m still learning a lot, but I’m getting there and I have something to express for the world of electronic music. 
I’m grateful Malmö was there right place to be. 


why I became so obsessed with music,

Bcause I wanted to share that same connection and feeling, just as when I listened to the songs from artists I like.
To listen to certain songs in certain moments of your life gives a way to make that song like a memory from a feeling or place and when listening to them after a while, comes this nostalgia of exact that moment of your life…

The concept is basically bringing back the old 90s techno, blending acid, percussion and Hypnos, imagine Emmanuel top, Jeff mills and resistance D, in one.

I’m trying to make some kind of underground resurrection.
