This was my 2.5 hour opening set for Fuck the Cistem at Club 3 in Haarlem. It felt good to make Haarlem shake their tame booties on the music I selected. Through the evening we went through different genres; cunty mysterious antacipatory techno, followed by some cunty house to get the mood going, followed by some harder cunty trance/techno to get the sweat going. What stayed persistent was the cunt, while riding the waves of different bpms in anticipation of what the rest of the night would bring.

A dark, pulsing atmosphere set the tone as Oxxenn stepped in with an opener built for raw industrial energy. The warehouse echoed with thick low-end pressure, minimal vocals, and hypnotic rhythmic patterns that slowly tightened the room’s tension. Strobing light cut through the haze as the beat evolved from deep, spacious textures into sharper percussive hits, pulling the crowd in without overwhelming them too early.

The set moved with intention — moody, mechanical, and immersive — warming the space while hinting at the heavier chaos to come later in the night. It blended cinematic ambience with gritty club elements, creating a slow-burning ascent that perfectly matched the cold metal and concrete of the warehouse environment.

An opener that didn’t just start the night — it activated it.
