Leeds duo Subvisions had a huge hit on Cheeky earlier this year with the summery, organ-driven vocal stomper 'Ibiza Donk', Now it's back for another go at the download charts with a massive new remix from one of Cheeky's longest running artists Groove Control, who's freshened it up with his new speed garage-flavoured sound influenced by the likes of Malugi. There's also a cleaner, beefier new version of the original from the Subvisions lads themselves!

500 Miles (Hedy West) Organ Cover

From 5 to 7 September 2025, I was invited to be a member of the jury for the John Cage Award competition in Halberstadt (Germany), organised by the John-Cage-Orgel-Stiftung Halberstadt, which is in charge of the Organ2/ASLSP project, a piece for organ by John Cage that designed to last 639 years and is played continuously, 24 hours a day in the Burchardi Church.

I took advantage of this wonderful opportunity to record this work at 20 different listening points for 7 minutes each.

I then used random operations with Andrew Culver's TIC and IC softwares (available on the anarchicharmony.org website) to determine sthe order of these listening points, their respective durations, the duration and the shapes of the cross-fades between these segments.

Se suma a nuestras entregas Gigantes de Tesalia (A3), un tema que rinde tributo a los tripulantes de la nave Argo, quienes partieron desde Tesalia en busca del vellocino de oro, símbolo de gloria y de la conquista imposible. El mito relata que fueron cincuenta los que abordaron la embarcación y navegaron en el derrotero de los argonautas. Este reggae los convoca.

En una versión reducida del grupo, Iván Larrea lidera el tema con sus teclas, que nos transportan a una época en la que el reggae instrumental era guiado por el órgano, marcando el pulso, la melodía y la atmósfera sonora.

Fantasia in G major ("Pièce d'Orgue") - BWV 572 - J.S. Bach

From a small town outside Oslo, Norway back in the 80s with big dreams.
Life can be an unpredictable friend and send the project into deep space for many decades. Until nostalgia and minor chords brought it back.
The train we never entered left the station way back. The station is gone and so are the tracks. So without any ambitions. Just having fun and a place to put the songs. It's a way to finish a song and go on to the next one.
The name is Valley of Torsa, for short its V of T.

I aim to create the World's Largest Organ Arrangements Library/Collection. You can already see the work I'm putting here, plus the sheet music I create and distribute on Musescore.

DJ Soyboy stands for togetherness: bringing genres, sounds, emotions, and people together on the dancefloor.
