In a world surrendered over to decadence and greed (Descension), the protagonist of our story is surrounded by people hiding behind masks, trapped in a false reality (Origins). Stranded in this theatrical society, he sinks deeper and deeper into routine and resentment (Groundhog Day). When he reaches his limits, he kidnaps his boss, the enemy who symbolizes the flimsy reality the hero experiences in his world, and vows to eliminate him once and for all (Six feet under). From this point, the last act of the drama begins. The protagonist has lost all sense of self and, surrendering to the paranoia of his reality, tortures his enemy to death. The story ends with the suicide of the hero of the story, in an act of despair, redemption and atonement in this dark journey (Bloodspill).

Rap originates from African American oral traditions such as "signifying," "playing the Dozens," and "Toasts"—long narrative poems like "Shine and the Titanic." Hip-hop culture emerged from the South Bronx in the mid-1970s, pioneered by the "holy trinity" of DJs: Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaataa, and Grandmaster Flash. Early MCs like Coke La Rock, Kid Creole, and Melle Mel developed rhyming to the beat, creating "flow." The art form's commercial viability was established in 1979 with The Sugarhill Gang's "Rapper's Delight," the first rap single to top Billboard charts.

The evolution of rap is categorized into distinct periods:

Part One: 1978–1984 (Formative Years)
This era saw the art of MCing take shape. Afrika Bambaataa's "Planet Rock" (1982) revolutionized the sound with electronic keyboards and the Roland 808 drum machine. Lyrical content expanded beyond parties to politics, notably with Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five's "The Message" (1982), a raw depiction of urban hardship. Kurtis Blow is credited with developing the rap "hook."

Part Two: 1985–1992 (Golden Age)
Run-DMC merged rap with a rock aesthetic, while Russell Simmons' Def Jam Records and producer Rick Rubin pushed a raw sound into the mainstream. Lyrical sophistication grew with MCs like Rakim and Big Daddy Kane, who mastered techniques like internal rhyme. Themes broadened to include Black Nationalism, and women MCs like Queen Latifah and Roxanne Shanté emerged. Rap solidified its dominance, an era defined by the rise and tragic deaths of 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G. 2Pac blended a "T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E." image with rhymes on social issues, while Biggie was celebrated for his vivid storytelling and fusion of rap with R&B. The Wu-Tang Clan fashioned a new supergroup model with a distinct aesthetic. Regional styles expanded, with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony establishing a melodic Midwest flow and Goodie Mob defining the "Dirty South." Lyrical masters like Nas and Jay-Z showcased immense poetic skill.

When struggling entrepreneur - Don, meets aspiring writer - Kat, in an unpredictable encounter, he believes he has found the true adoration he's been yearning for all his life. Don confesses his stories to Kat, and she arises to inspire him to put together, "The legendariest books that have ever been fabricated in Australia!" To raise funds to fix his 'conun-drums'.

Kat runs away with Don to take his business national in his Bricklaying truck while she resumes her writing and he commences his novelistic journey, expecting a great adventure but confronted by ghosts from their pasts.

Scorched Earth is a metal band based in Patras, Greece, that made its first steps in the local music scene in 2023. Rooted in groove and heavy metal, they aim to create a sound that is both dynamic and atmospheric.

Charon is a very talented DJ with over 15 years of experience in the harder styles of electronic dance music. As a resident DJ for the harder styles at Club Rodenburg he gained a lot of experience under the name Ruff J. His main ingredients are Hardstyle and Hardcore, especially Hardstyle Classics and Early Hardstyle are his thing.
