UFO Problem 178bpm (Dark Psytrance)

This is the first dj set I ever recorded (back there in 2005 if I´m correct).
A dark trance journey including the artists I´ve always loved.
The original name for this Dj Set was "The Fast and the furious" due to the time it was recorded, the psytrance scene in my town used to be about 140-147 BPM so it was very rare that someone would play anything else faster than that.
This very dj set got me into two foreign labels that signed me in to play their music, this ones were Helicon Sound System (Greece) and Black Magic Records (USA), so as this was the one that started it all I decided to rename it Nequiores Diaboli Zero.

After attending to a festival in Guadalajara Mx in 2011, I witnessed Psykovsky performance for the first time, it was a 9 hour set that blew me away, I was hungry for music and the unique style of Vasily was a feast, additionally Will O Wisp, Arcek and Vensker played awesome so... 
As soon as I got home I started collecting and mixing all the music I could, and after a few days the first Nequiores Diaboli was born.
Nequiores Diaboli comes from the latin language and it means "The evil demons".

A Rádio Utopia é muito mais do que uma estação. É uma jornada para questionar, explorar e, acima de tudo, criar.
A utopia, como conceito, sempre representou a ideia de um lugar ou estado perfeito… mas na música, ela é aquilo que buscamos a cada novo experimento, a cada novo som. 
Não se trata de atingir um ideal inalcançável, mas de construir, a cada batida, uma nova visão, um novo caminho.
Entre nuances de ritmos e oscilações que vão de 152 a 193 bpm’s, a Rádio Utopia começa com brasilidades e músicas que fazem parte da minha história. São raizes que me inspiraram a reverberar todo esse sentimento no Festival Terra Azul. 
Em 2024, muitos dos meus sonhos tomaram forma e, agora, neste ano, eles reverberaram ainda mais intensos e mais vivos do que nunca. 
A utopia que criamos segue presente, ressoando em cada um de nós. 
E é com isso que convido você a desconstruir suas percepções do “real” e explorar uma realidade alternativa onde a música é a bússola para esta viagem. 

Que a Rádio Utopia seja a sua trilha sonora para encontrar novas formas de se conectar com a música e, principalmente, com o seu mais profundo ideal.
Afinal, a verdadeira utopia não está em algum futuro distante — está está aqui, agora. Ela começa com este set, e começa com você.

Rádio Utopia

A heartfelt 150 minute ride from me as I explore the musical expression that is a culmination of industrial, machiney and natural tones, representing the modern day era of humanity we currently live in. It also relies on funky keywords to break up the trip and accelerate it in specific points and I believe these small subtly picked tracks with vocals act as a whispering background in the trip.

I believe my life has been a loop of sorts in the past decade where I have been in touch with this magical subgenre of EDM. The set relies on the same concept, where I personally bring it back to a known point at multiple instances within the set, similar tracks of similar tonalities that set the comfort zone. 

While I give a cozy description of the track, rest assured when I say this is probably the most driving, full-power, twisted set I have ever uploaded. Now its time for 150 minutes of Shiva Tandavam and I hope you like this journey. :)

In the grand mosaic of Psytrance, the heart-pounding Full-on and Foresty Dark Twilight are my compass points, the North Star to my sonic exploration. However, my musical treasure chest is diverse, and I revel in the crossroads where beats merge and melodies entwine.
