One of three originals I composed within OpenMPT and some freeware VST plugins for the production challenges in the leadup to the All Nighter 10 proper a month later (August 17-18), and just finished up the rest tonight under some boredom.
It's also my first-ever foray into making retrowave, obvs inspired by Firechild, most of the parts being played on a few instances of 2DaT (later DiscoDSP)'s Oberheim OB-Xa VST emulation... I guess

So here we are again. Slightly better off than before. But this time, looking on towards what seems to be a promising future behind all of this permanence, this humane grief, the hopelessness...

My second collab submission with @kasamikumusic for the second iteration of Hajimeli's Sunset Serenade rhythm game music contest (2025) - also a rejected one like last time's. I bet she and I wound up quite pleased with what we had cooked this time around, alongside my recent attempts at doing retrowave, albeit with digital emulations of synths of long past, this past several months.
Yeah, for some reason, this release was delayed since we finished the entire mix, seemingly partly lost in the sea of memory for weeks. Not for long.
