Chris K. ,also known as mSdoS, is by far the world's largest Greek representative in the Liquid Drum'n'Bass scene. His style is influenced by classic vintage soul/jazz sounds from movies back in 60's and 70's and here he presents us with a fantastic ep of contemporary atmospheric drum and bass.
'Cronians' kicks off the ep with clean drums and percussion awash with otherworldy atmospheres and a nice bass.
Title track 'Voyager' is next with an uplifting melodic take featuring a deep bass,looping subtle melodies and punchy drums with a hoofing snare.
'High Saturations' intro piano lulls you into perhaps a liquid vibe but the resonant bassline says otherwise amidstrolling drums and a full sub bass. Further piano flourishes feature while atmospheres switch in and out.
Our final track on the ep 'Celerians' is a tale of last but certainly not least. Stepping drums, skippy percussion and arpeggio set the scene for a journey into hypnotic space.
